Services
Principle Group came together to respond to a problem that we believed wasn't really being dealt with by traditional Pilates or Physiotherapy services. Our Physiotherapists were treating more and more clients that were on a merry-go-round of injury, treatment and re-injury and who were struggling to find a long term solution to their problems.
I was lucky enough to enjoy a fabulous career as a competitive windsurfer, winning National, European and World titles and representing Great Britain in the British Olympic Squad. During this time I developed an interest in anatomy, sports science and Pilates so when it came to deciding what to turn my hand to as a career once my competitive windsurfing drew to a close I decided to teach Pilates.
Take a look at a Pilates class in action and hear from the Principle Team and our clients talking about STOTT PILATES and the difference it has made to their lives. Pilates is a gentle, non-aerobic exercise method that can be performed by people of all ages and abilities.

It emphasises precision of movement rather than strength and endurance and helps lengthen and strengthen muscles and improve posture but without placing undue stress on either the joints or the heart.Sportspeople wanting to build core strength, improve flexibility and increase movement efficiency. Adults that are getting a little older who want to continue enjoying an active lifestyle in their later years.
Pilates is often misconstrued by sportspeople as a pseudo-exercise. Something that has no place in the training schedule of serious or elite sports people. If you are of that persuasion then listen to Chrissy Connelly explain why Pilates should be a 'go to' exercise system for any sportsperson serious about their performance.
He believed that what we now call Pilates was a way of living that had the power to deeply affect our physical, mental and spiritual well being and enable us to lead richer, fuller lives. What we know for certain is that taking part in Pilates classes on a regular basis has paid huge dividends for many people and here we look at the many benefits STOTT PILATES can introduce into your life.

After a serious car accident resulting in many injuries I was set on carrying on with sport and also my career as a hairdresser. Pilates has enabled me to do so! Chrissy has huge knowledge of the body-I do not know what I would do without her!

I have been training with Chrissy for a while now. I didn't notice the changes in my posture until I hit my head on a low door frame I had missed for four years! All of a sudden I had to start ducking! Chrissy has a great sense of what's needed by your body and works with you to help you achieve your goals. It's always great fun and very professional at the same time. There is no substitute for the level of training Chrissy has gone through and I have no hesitation in recommending her. I am a middle aged woman with a few injuries and I feel stronger now in the injured areas than I ever thought

I have been going to Pilates with Chrissy for many years! She has kept me on the straight and narrow, particularly as I have looked after my five active grandchildren for the past eight years (think lifting, twisting, playing on the floor for hours, heaving buggies around!). Need I add more!?
Chrissy has a stunning knowledge of her craft. Her understanding of the body, and Pilates, is second to none. Her classes are always tailored to our needs and delivered both professionally and with a sense of fun and understanding!!
I know I will keep attending Chrissy's classes forever! I love them! Thanks
