Move more and feel good! We are making Pilates affordable and accessible to everybody, all you need is access to the internet and the desire to feel amazing in both body and mind! We offer easy to follow safe and effective Pilates classes taken at a time that suits you. Choose from live zoom sessions or a pre-recorded video library.

The Pilates for beginners videos teach you step by step if you are new to Pilates, or follow our improver/intermediate sessions if you are more experienced. Learn about Pilates for back pain and posture and how to use Pilates in your everyday life.

If you consider that you have two types of muscles in your body - big superficial mobilising muscles and small deep stabilising muscles. In our everyday life, sport and other more vigorous exercise disciplines we tend to use our bigger mobilising muscles to move, this is very natural and good for these muscles.
You have heard lots of different things about Pilates but are unsure if its suitable for you?. Pilates for beginners is a safe and effective way of improving your posture, strength and flexibility. Learning the method properly and executing the exercises correctly is essential to staying safe and feeling the benefits.
Having spent the past 20 years as a senior executive in a US global IT company, travelling all over the world I developed very poor posture. I was referred to Emma by my physiotherapist and I have seen amazing results in my first 10 sessions, already I can see an improvement in my posture and core strength, leading to a reduction in my discomfort.

We were lucky enough to join one of Emma's Pilates classes a few years ago and we have never looked back and have to say that they are THE BEST! Also, Emma was quick to respond to lockdown and we are so grateful for the Zoom classes and her own online videos - it always feels like she is in the room with you! A very caring and knowledgeable Pilates teacher.

I’ve only done Emma’s online Pilates classes and I think they are great. One class every day of the week so flexible around work commitments. Great cues on how to position oneself. Always a few options depending on flexibility and fitness levels. I like the added weights and ball. I always feel safe and in good hands even though it’s via zoom.

I've been coming to Emma for Pilates since July 2017, on the recommendation from several people, some of whom had been enjoying her classes for many years. I had undertaken major abdominal and reconstruction surgery and Emma was very good in understanding my specific health needs and a careful introduction back to Pilates (I'd had classes elsewhere in the past). In the last 4 years I've enjoyed the classes, both in the studio and currently online and feel that my core strength has returned. Her Pilates classes have also helped my general fitness so I can enjoy and improve my golf! Thank you, Emma

The pilates training I have received from Emma has transformed my life, because I have finally been able to recover movement and flexibility that had been badly reduced by a car accident I suffered several years ago. Emma is a great instructor, not only does she have a really good grasp of how your body works ( and what to do to make it work better) but also she is very good at matching the exercises to your own ability, your own needs, and your own limitations. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for people of all ages and all needs.

I have been attending Emma’s classes for 15 years. Emma is an excellent instructor, providing clear and detailed explanations of each exercise. There is focus on good technique to ensure the class gets maximum benefit from the exercises, while being mindful of each individual’s needs.

Emma is an outstanding teacher and I count myself very fortunate in finding her studio when we moved to the area. The fact that so many of her clients have been with her for many many years speaks volumes. During lockdown Emma came up trumps with her Zoom classes to keep everyone motivated plus being committed to supporting our mental well-being. The flexibility of zoom classes in the professional way they are taught gives one freedom to exercise around busy lifestyles and I could not recommend more highly.

As a complete beginner of Pilates I was welcomed so warmly into Emma’s zoom Pilates classes. This was during lockdown and I live in Scotland so it really was a blessing in disguise! I felt a real sense of community from all of the other clients and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, including myself!! Emma really made us feel at ease and explained everything in a really understandable way so even if you’re on a different level of fitness there was always a way to work around it and she would guide us through.
