Beautiful decor and delicious food. Since it's a brasserie, I went dressed a bit casually, but I thought it would be better to dress up a bit to fit the atmosphere of the restaurant. If you write down your allergies in advance when you make a reservation, they will take them into consideration when you oder menus.

What a gem of a place, like stepping back to the 1930s in Paris. Super decor great dinning room, it was and maybe still is the largest in London. Classic French Menu massive French vibe brought back happy memories of when we could travel. Food was amazing, efficient service fair pricing. I will be back.

One of the best places I have visited! Delicious everything!!! Must visit In London. The place is beautifully decorated in Art-Deco, Very single detail of the architecture is amazing. The walls the ceilings, the seating, you travel trough time when you enter in this place. Amazing atmosphere and the jazz band gives the final touch! I went there to have oyster but everything in the menu is delicious. Also the service is top! Congratulations to all the team of Brasserie Zedel.

This is a quite delightful restaurant. It's utterly beautiful and classy, yet the vibe is relaxed, not snobby at all. The menu is broad and so appetising; superb options for all, including vegetarians, and the wine choice is excellent. You'll spend a fair bit of money here, but at the same time, it's not in the lofty price bracket one would expect from its magnificent interior, all-round dedication to great quality, and service. I had the spinach, chestnut and mushroom pie with a beurre blanc sauce, absolutely delicious, full of flavour, which followed one of the best nicoise salads I've ever enjoyed

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Hidden gem (literally! You’ll find out when you go there) Beautifully designed and a nice touch with the lighted windows as the restaurant is underground. The live music was the right amount of ambience and not overly loud.
Food was spectacular and authentic with the biggest surprise is the value!! Lovely bar and events room available too but I didn’t get to go. Next time!

It's always a challenge to book this bistro, but we think it's a fun place. It is always crowded and noisy. The food is authentic. This visit is during the Christmas holidays. There was live music. We enjoyed creamed cauliflower soup (truly devine), a steak with Bechamel sauce, frites and a wonderful bottle of Gigondas. For dessert we had Baba au Rum because it was the favorite dessert of my father-in-law. Our waitress was from Romania and she was most helpful. I asked if they still had postcards and she found them and brought me several. It is not an inexpensive place, but certainly

This is a top class French restaurant, art decor style, at Piccadilly Circus.
My first experience of real French food, had escargot, onion and cheese soup, and ravioli.
All well presented, and tasty,if not a little rich.
Staff very attentive
It was my wife's birthday, so she was handed a small token, a decorated plate, with a couple of biscuits.
I was surprised just how busy this place was, the quality of the food and the ambience an obvious reason

In the heart of Soho, this establishment alludes to a bygone era. It feels like a movie set but curiously unpretentious. Cloth napkins, retro tiled bathrooms and dining hall elegance. Open for cocktails, coffee, light eating or fine dining. Surprisingly not expensive either. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Love this place! Very very reliable and very reasonably priced if you go for the prix-fixe menu. Good choices for all kinds of diets, vegetarian, gluten free, but not at all for vegans. Sorry!
All of the decor from the entrance, the stairs, everywhere is just gorgeous and so photogenic. Even The bathrooms are super cute!

Brasserie Zedel is a go to for me when I'm London. The massive, French brassiere is tucked away below ground under an unassuming cafe. It's always fun to descend the red carpeted steps to find a cabaret bar, Art Deco lounge, and brassiere tucked away from the bustling street above. The bartenders are French, the butter is Parisian, and the food is traditional and good. This is where I go for an early dinner after my flight and it's a nice antidote to jet lag.

I had eaten at the Brasserie Zedel on prior visits. It is a nice rendition of a French Brasserie. I rated them a four stars based upon my multiple visits and I consistently have gotten a good meal. I recommend that you should make a reservation beforehand as it gets crowded. Generally, without a reservation you can get a seat for one at the bar. The menu has undergone some changes, the biggest one being a new complete vegetarian menu. It looked very interesting. I was in the mood for a "steak frites" and was not disappointed. The steak is thinly cut, so difficult

Been wanting to this place for decades! Finally made a reservation. Fancy decor. 3 courses for a reasonable price. Baguette is nice. The carrot is a delight. The steak haché is a bit fatty for me. For me better go for well-done. The sauce is nice. Quality food in general. Good service. Suitable for pre-theatre dinner.
Expect at least one hour for this 3-course.

A very nice French restaurant. The appeal to this place their very affordable selected 2/3 course meal of Carottes Râpées, Steak Haché with fries, and Délice au Chocolat Noir. The two course only costs £10.50 while the three course is £13.75.
I opted out of that option and got the 'Stone Bass', Epinards, Sauce Beurre Rouge which was served with wilted spinach in a red wine butter sauce. Although it doesn't look like a lot, it is quite dense and filling while also tasting phenomenal. I also got their Crème Brûlée which was torched a little too much on the top, but very good

Not to be missed affordable, subterranean London eatery-plex.
There was, of course, a long wait to get in to this stunning French restaurant, but it was well worth it. Even if I didn't eat a thing this would be a fantastic place to spend time as it is utterly gorgeous.
The classic deco styling suits me just fine as the wait staff was very patient and gracious. There are some many dishes to choose from but the quiche lorraine was a great way to start to start - it was light and rich. The salad nicoise was also quite good - all very fresh and savory.

Well, what can I say - it's just as beautiful and special downstairs as I remember from way back when this was The Atlantic. The staircase leading down from the main Brasserie is not quite as dramatic as the one I remember but you are still ascending into another, more glamorous world.
There is a choice of three rooms, one obviously a smart restaurant, and we headed straight for the Bar Americain. Easily the smartest cocktail bar in town. We felt transported back to another time, even before the Atlantic era, very Agatha Christie with the bar tenders creating the most amazing concoctions

Perfect place for a pre-theatre meal. Extensive French menu with daily specials and everything from snails to Camembert on the cheese trolley for afters. The setting is charming with good service. We dined on beef bourguignon, hake, salmon, and veal sweetbreads--everyone agreed their meal was super.

Brasserie Zedel is a French style brasserie with a grand dining room decorated in a combination of the Beaux-arts and Art Deco styles. Descending the stairs from the small ground floor bar to the expansive room is quite an experience.
The menu is reasonably priced for the location and there's a decent wine list, and a vegetarian menu available on request, though it's not on the website.
Food is decent rather than outstanding but is good value for the product very. On my recent visit, the starter of grated celeriac in mustard mayonnaise and the pudding of Ile Flottante were the highlights

Wonderful Cafe!
My cousin and I actually just randomly went inside this cafe for a hot drink because it was storming outside and we needed refuge ha ha
We were delighted to see what a lovely place this was! Everything you would expect from a posh cafe. We ordered some hot chocolates along with a piece of cake.
I'm not sure exactly what entire place is but it looked something like a hotel minus the accommodations if that makes sense? lol Very confusing. There was this fancy bar and restaurant downstairs that we didn't get to try but it looked super expensive.
I would love to come
