Our school is a well-established Catholic Primary school that has welcomed families from East Dulwich and surrounding parishes since it was originally founded in 1883. We are a happy and successful school that strives for excellence; ensuring that each child grows socially, academically and spiritually - so that they leave us fully equipped for the next stage of their life journey.

Our children tell us that they love to be here and we are very proud of them and their achievements. As a Catholic school, we embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church and work closely with the local Catholic community. In partnership with families and parishes, we support the children's faith journeys and we ensure the Gospel values are central to our daily interactions as well as being the foundation of all our policies.
Services
In 1879 Franciscan monks started a monastery in Dulwich (where Dulwich Picture House has now been built). There was no school in the area, so the friars decided to open a school above the church. They had 48 pupils. There is no record of how our school received its name; the Franciscans were specially attached to St Anthony of Padua, and this may be why the school is named after him.
St. Anthony's School is based on a Catholic foundation. This is shown in the way we offer all pupils, staff, parents, visitors and friends the experience of a loving, caring, learning, playful and worshipping community. We see Christ in everyone. Each child will be helped to achieve their social, academic and spiritual potential.
As governors of a faith school we hold an important public office. It is a responsibility that we take very seriously. Accordingly, we have adopted the Code of Conduct for School Governing Boards, 2015 version, to ensure to we are at all times acting in accordance with "best practice". We have four Associate Governors, who have specialist expertise, thus their appointment.
The Southwark Local Offer is a comprehensive guide to the services in Southwark and neighbouring boroughs that are available for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25. Southwark's Local Offer was developed with parents, carers and children & young people with SEND.
It's designed to help disadvantaged pupils of all abilities perform better, and close the gap between them and their peers. The Pupil Premium is additional funding which is allocated to schools on the basis of the number of pupils who have been eligible for free school meals at any point over the last six years, who are recognised by the DfE as being disadvantaged or who have parents in the regular armed forces.

It's a privilege to be part of this amazing community(family).
I remember my first day making enquiries here. Meeting Mrs Squire who's simply outstanding and the warm smile from Mr Croft at the reception. I knew this was where I wanted my son to be.
The staff here are simply the best and we remain thank full always. My son loves it here so much that two mondays ago, when the school suddenly had to close due to lack of power supply,he started crying at the gate.
I must mention the breakfast and after school club. My son can't get enough that there is often a count down thirty minutes before my
