Over the past few months, the prices have just kept going up. The steak pies used to be around £5.50, last year they suddenly went up to over £7, on Friday they were £8.25!!! Everything is overpriced in here. We used to enjoy a coffee and cake in the cafe, but we walked out when we saw how much everything had gone up. Scones were over £3 and some of the cakes were £4.95, that’s far too expensive! I used to visit frequently and it was always busy, particularly on Fridays and weekends, there were always queues, but not anymore!!

I loved going here. The food in the restaurant is brilliant, and we regularly travelled the 45 minutes from home specifically to shop here. However, they let us down rather spectacularly Christmas 2021, when they twice refused to hold onto our ordered turkey for one more day. My other half had dislocated her shoulder and we just couldn't make it. Twice, they stated it was "incredibly difficult", citing incredibly weak arguments that related to parts of a process that had already passed. They just needed to put it in a fridge to help a customer in a crisis, but they just plain didn't want to help

I booked a table in the restaurant for a family of 9 on Monday 13th December and needed to change the time the day before. The staff were amazing and they rearranged the table settings to accommodate 2 highchairs at a later time. The breakfast menu was delicious with a great kids menu and the staff were so helpful.

We had breakfast here and all the staffs were very friendly. The food were delicious. I would recommend their farmer breakfast, the bacon chop was the best I ever had. Also would recommend booking as it was quite busy when we went even on a Tuesday morning. Sad that I live very far, otherwise would go there more often!

We really enjoy coming here but rarely get as we live in the East Coast. Bought some beautiful looking bacon chops and a lovely chicken to freeze for Christmas. Could have spent lots more on this foodies' heaven. Many thanks. Had a great cup of tea too with a pear and almond tart - very tasty. Thanks.

Love this place. First class produce. Range of meats, baked goods, cafe, everything and more than you could want. Flowers, bulbs, gift shop, lots of good quality merchandise. Have visited many times en route to destination and return trip. Children's play area close to swimming pool which is nearby.

We went for lunch (as well to shop) and the food was simply fabulous. We had the mussels followed by a very indulgent sticky toffee dessert. Thoroughly recommended (and the shop is great too... Full of fresh and local produce. Yes, cheaper options are always going to be available, but the quality of everything is excellent)
