Our first foray into business was selling home-reared pork from a stall in our garage. While it seems a million miles from the purpose-built farm shop and food halls that we call home today, not much has really changed. Here's how we've grown our family business - there are now 10 of us involved - without compromising our belief that high-quality, locally-sourced food is the best investment our customers can make.

As a family-owned butchers based in Preston, we pride ourselves on supporting the local farming community. When you shop with us you can expect to find the finest selection of local produce direct from our hand-picked suppliers.
We have worked hard over the years, rearing and sourcing locally farmed meat for our farm shop in Woodplumpton and for our traditional butchery in the Barton Grange Garden Centre Farm Shop and the Food Hall at Bents Garden and Home.Wherever possible the meat we sell is sourced from within a 20 mile radius, providing full traceability and helping to reduce those all-important food miles.

An excellent farm shop that is well worth the visit! The variety of produce here is fantastic. From a top notch butchers counter, to ready meals, fresh veg, the list is endless. Really is worth a visit. Do yourself a favour and get some of the sausage rolls, they are the best sausage rolls I've ever had. Fantastic.

Great place for meats pies and cakes, helpful staff, good quality products, most of which is home produced, little more expensive but well worth it, and if you want game like venison and pheasant etc this is the place to go. They also have a loyalty scheme. Whats not to like, also get all your Christmas goodies in one place, turkey, pigs in blankets.

So wish this farm shop was a bit closer. Everything is top quality. Scotch eggs, porterhouse burgers and pork pies delicious. Even bread rolls are the best I’ve ever tasted. Chicken thighs larger than your average and not tough. In fact haven’t had anything that’s not been really good quality. There’s bags of bones free as you check out for making stock or treats for the dog.

Fantastic selection of food, don't really know where to start with this review too many positives. The veg always looks so fresh and colourful, they have a lot of ready made meals that have been homemade, have only tried the homemade pies which were great. They have a deli counter, butchers, nice wines and free bones for the dogs. More importantly they have the biggest selection of Tony Chocolonely I've seen :)
