Taylors Farm Shop
Taylors Farm Shop has been in the Webster family for over 100 years and is currently run by the third generation of the family - Roger, Bernie and two of their four children Andrew and Joe. The farm prides itself on being a traditional working farm producing cereals and beef to source our shop.

We offer fresh beef and lamb straight from our farm, together with a wide range of wholesome quality produce sourced from local farmers throughout the North West of England. At Taylors Farm we rear our cattle on our own cereals grown on the farm to ensure excellent quality of livestock. We produce the our own cereals for our livestock to ensure that our butchers counter offers our customers the highest quality produce.
Services
With a growing family, we decided to reduce the variety of crops we grew & introduced a small herd of cattle; mainly Limousin, Charolais and Belgian Blue X cows. Our original plan was to fatten and sell our beef through local markets, but with the struggling farming industry through BSE and foot & mouth, we made a plan to diversify so Taylors Farm would survive.
As farmers, we are passionate about locally sourced produce and are always looking to reduce food miles. We are specialising in supplying high quality local produce, giving our customers excellent fresh food, with flavour you can taste. By supporting local farmers and producers we strengthen the local economy, reduce food miles and create sustainable jobs.
At Taylors Farm we rear our cattle on our own cereals grown on the farm to ensure excellent quality of livestock. We produce our own cereals for our livestock to ensure that our butchers counter offers our customers the highest quality produce. We feed our cattle on an Alkaline Diet, mainly made from our own cereals grown here on the Farm, which ensures a top quality of beef.
Our award-winning butchers counter was recognised as Butchers Shop of the year 2015 and 2017 but we are most proud of our staff who have been recognised for their craftsmanship skills. Ben Peel - Ben was awarded for his Endeavour, from Princess Anne for his hard work mastering his butchery skills. Ben has worked with us for over seven years joining straight from school.
Our hugely popular Gift Shop stocks a wide range of gifts, or for that special touch why not choose a hamper, and have it beautifully wrapped by our team. We also have gift vouchers, to any denomination of your choice. We select all our gifts carefully to offer a mix of cushions, baskets, coasters & placemats and soft toys.

The quality is great the price however is a bit on the high side. Did not feel I got value for money.

Forget your supermarkets. We've just moved to the area and our closet store is Taylor's. We may never visit a supermarket again. Everything you may possibly need is here and it all is SUPER fresh. Really good value too.

The meat here is really second to non, it's always fantastic quality and always a large serving. Prices can reflect the size don't get me wrong but compared to other local butchers or super markets the meat is superb.
Parking can sometimes be a little bit of a hassle due to the volume of people that come every weekend but it's also got an overflow carpark incase of a busy spell.
It has everything from ingredients like garlic & spices, to meats and cheeses.
They also sell pies, fresh and frozen.
The steak & Stilton pie is to die for you really must try it.
I've added a few photos of food I

Great fresh food
Trolly system is brilliant. Fits into till perfect. Great idea.
Friendly and very clean.
Car park is just big enough. And a fish stall next to carpark.
We shop once every week here. Never freeze anything as its so fresh.
Prices are really good.
Value is in the quality.
Free dog bones on offer when available. I don't have a dog, but it's a great gesture to our pet lovers.

Been coming here for years since it was much smaller. The selection and choice is first class. The help yourself packs are convenient, however, personally I prefer the old days when you were served at the counter. I'm old fashioned though.

Good selection of produce, well priced products. However, customer service could be improved; the way we were spoken to by members of staff, both off and on tills, was abrupt and, quite frankly, rude. Furthermore, we purchased a hummous which was mouldy when we got it home.
