Services
Axis is a dedicated Pilates Studio offering over 50 small, intimate classes a week in Matwork, Reformer and Studio Pilates for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Classes run Monday - Saturday from 8am to 9pm and all taught by a small team of qualified and highly-experienced instructors.
Angelica is a Pilates Teacher fully qualified by the PILATES Foundation UK and YMCA in a range of Matwork Pilates with further studies in Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates.She is certified in teaching Studio Equipment and Rehabilitative Breast Cancer.

Our Mat Pilates classes are small and intimate and are recommended for those who have no serious injuries. The focus of Pilates Matwork Classes is on creating balance in the body, strengthening the core postural muscles and working on stability and co-ordination. Matwork classes use your body weight to provide the resistance that your muscles work against.
Pilates is a method of exercise adaptable to many fitness levels and needs and it can be applied to almost any activity that we engage in on a daily basis. It provides a better understanding of the way that we should hold our bodies, releasing stress on the body's tissues and joints, improving postural alignment.
Invented by the Pilates founder Joseph Pilates, The Reformer is probably the most popular piece of Pilates equipment. The Reformer's resistance created by the pulley and spring system provides a challenging strength and endurance workout. Our Reformer classes have a maximum of three participants working on the Pilates Reformer.
Complimenting sessions with your osteopath, physiotherapist or chiropractor or any other practitioner. Private Studio sessions utilize the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and small apparatus which offer both resistance and support allowing you to achieve a range of movement that you won't think possible.

Angelica & Rex are great Pilates instructors. Very knowledgeable & helpful with corrections to your technique to ensure you get the most from a class. The studios are well equipped. The classes are graded into levels, which ensures you get a thorough workout for the level you are at. I would highly recommend this studio.
