The premier Pilates company in Surrey and South West London, covering Sutton, Purley, Wallington, Banstead and the surrounding areas. We specialise in exercise for health and wellbeing. To us, fitness isn't just about looking better in your clothes - it's about strengthening your body to improve your health and daily life.
Pilates is recommended by many medical professionals including physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors to help rehabilitate injuries and reduce back pain. Whether it's rectifying muscle imbalances, improving your posture, increasing your mobility and flexibility, strengthening your back, rebuilding your pelvic floor after pregnancy or becoming more aware of how your body moves, we can help.

Services
Pilates is a slow, controlled form of exercise centred around the core. Our classes combine strengthening work along with exercises to improve mobility and flexibility. It's recommended by GPs, chiropractors, physiotherapists and osteopaths, and is one of the best forms of exercise for those with back related issues.
Physical activity is vital for all ages but there are benefits that are even more important to older adults. Improved posture, balance and coordination - and thereby a reduction in the risk of falls. Increased strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, thereby making it easier to carry out daily tasks and improving quality of life.
We specialise in helping people with back pain. It is a particular passion of Park View Pilates founder Lorraine Thurlow, who suffered from years of back and neck pain after a car accident at the age of 20. Wanting to help people manage their back pain is the main reason why she decided to retrain for a career in the fitness industry.
Our Sept/Oct term is now up and running! Although many fitness businesses have gone back to normal, we are maintaining an element of social distancing at all of our classes. Mats will be marked out to allow at least two metres from the centre of one mat to the centre of another; the general idea is to maintain at least two metres between people's heads at all times.

€œLorraine is an amazing instructor. She has a great understanding of the body anatomy. Her instructions are really clear with light-hearted humour. She has an array of exercises to suit different levels and abilities. As a tall Mobile Massage Therapist and Magic Circle Magician I always use a lot of upper body muscles and on my feet for long periods of time. I have found the stretching and strengthening exercises have made a significant difference to upper back, neck and shoulders. I have no hesitation in recommending Lorraine to first timers to Pilates to the more experienced Pilates person
