After working in various Pilates studios in London, Sarah Tal opened The Pilates Studio Ltd in 1998. Her main aim was to create a safe relaxing environment "where the mind meets the body" for people suffering from injuries and busy people who had lost touch with their bodies. She uses Pilates as a tool to help her clients strengthen their core muscles and to understand and be conscious of their own posture and body movements.
We do not give 'general tuition'; we pride ourselves on working with the individual, constantly monitoring and re-evaluating the body, coming up with new challenges as the body improves in strength and flexibility. We help clients who suffer with bad backs, stiff necks, painful knees, hips, ankles and wrists.
We successfully assist Surgeons and Physicians with the effects of both static positions and repetitive movements on the body. Sitting in a particular position for an extended period of time can cause long term joint damage. Let us help you discover exactly where you hold your tension and the overall effect it has on your body.

Our classes are beneficial for everyone, regardless of age, level of fitness or lifestyle. With the instructor's guidance the client learns how to address the individual needs of their body and to practise Pilates in a way that best suits their pace and requirements. For the Initial Diagnostic Class or a Private Class, 48-hours' notice is required to cancel.
