We are pleased to announce that all classes at Dechen London have now resumed in person.
However if you are not able to make it the centre the Wednesday evening and Saturday morning sessions will continue to run online as well via Zoom. As soon as you are able to we encourage you to come. In order to continue to offer the people the chance to learn to meditate and hear about the teachings of the Buddha during the current period of prohibition Dechen London have once again moved their Buddhism and Meditation Classes Online.

Services
The Sakya tradition is known as the 'holder of all the Buddha's teachings' due to the vast extent of teachings and practices it has preserved in its long history. It takes its name from the monastery founded at Sakya in south-western Tibet in 1073 by Knchok Gyalpo of the Khn clan. Since his time the leadership of the tradition has remained within the same family.
Sakya Dechen Ling is at the north end of Chepstow Road, adjacent to St. Stephen's Gardens. Westbourne Park Station: The centre is a 5-10 minute walk from Westbourne Park underground station. Notting Hill Gate Station: The centre is a 15 -20 minute walk from Notting Hill Gate underground station. Alternatively you can take Bus 28, 328, or 31 from Stop B in Pembridge Road, to St Stephens Gardens.
In the weekly practice schedule at the Sakya Buddhist Centre, we perform regular prayers and meditation practices (pujas), and dedicate the merit for the benefit of all beings. There is a formal meditation class from 10:30 - 11:30am which you are also welcome to join (no prior experience required just an interest in Buddhism and meditation) and after that our doors are simply open for visitors.
