We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer. Phone calls are taken from 08:00 to 13:00 and 14:30 to 18.30 Monday to Friday, except on Thursday when they are taken from 08:00 until 12:00 and directed to Ournet on 01922 501999. The surgery telephone lines close from 13.00 to 14.30 daily except on Thursday when lines close at 12.00. The Surgery doors are closed between 13:00-14:00 for lunch and phone lines reopen at 14:30.
Services
There is wheelchair access to the building, all patient services are provided at ground floor level and toilet facilities for the disabled are provided. There is limited parking at the front of the surgery for the Doctor and staff at the centre. If no space is available you can also park in the subway of West Bromwich Road and walk to the surgery.
Melanie is our Senior Receptionist supported by 4 part time receptionist Jasvir, Safina, Catherine & Randhir. All the reception staff have undergone extensive training. All our receptionists are available to answer your calls, take messages and deal with any queries. Sometimes, you may be asked for medical details in order that the receptionist can pass them to the doctor or nurse, who decides the urgency of the case or the advice to be given.
If you are interested in joining our Patient Participation Group, please enquire at the reception desk, how you can become involved in its work. Nationally, PPGs have been around for nearly 40 years. Each PPG is different and able to decide for itself how it wants to work. Across the country, they are involved in improving communication, sharing health messages and supporting other patients.
In many Practices, including our own, patient demand has increased significantly meaning patients have found it difficult to get an appointment with a GP. So, with the help of a new scheme, we're taking action to put this right. Just call on the day at 8.30am that you are available to book an appointment for that day.
If you need regular repeat prescriptions then your prescription requirements will usually be dealt with by our computer repeat prescription system. By post (please remember to allow time for your request to arrive and include a SAE if you want the prescription returned to you by post). By using our online ordering system you need to register for this service - please ask at reception.

Poor service, I was asked to attend for fasting blood test with the nurse. But had my BP checked, it was high but she made no mention of it. When pressed she agreed that it was high and to double the dose. She then gave me a flu jab and said we were done. When I mentioned blood test, she said that was a mistake and its not due till next year. I was furious, I had fasted and had high BP but no compassion was shown.

Absolutely ridiculous no appointments at all !!!!! they say ring at 8 when you start ringing no one answers and if by 8.30 they answer you are told “ all appointments are gone “ covid has become a excuse now i’m sorry of hospital are caring on has normal then you should aswell you are playing with peoples life’s it’s the surgery’s job to refer us to hospital but when we don’t even get an appointment then that’s a no no please sort your priority's out which should be with your patients and there needs at the moment there is lack of care !!!!

Worst service ever, Rude staff. No appointments. Double standards. No proper telephone que for same day appointments. Staff are not interested in your health they just want to argue!
Spent over 30 mins for 3 days in a row to get an appointment, staff just said ring at 8am, they don’t answer the phone till half 8, and all appointments are gone. Poor management of same day appointments better transparency is required. The Car park and reception is always empty, where do these appointments go?

Rubbish surgery i have ever seen in my life. Staff particularly attendinging morning shift who deal with phone callings have no manners at all and i am deeply disappointed for being treated so badly that i was nearly calling the police on them. They are so rude. Please my humble request to you all to not register at all with this surgery who selectively providing their services and do not show thier empathy to the society as a whole in general.

This is not my 1st experience but the receptionists at this surgery are extremely rude. It's just unbelievable the manner they answer queries. Today I attended with my mum and we arrived few minutes before her appointment. After waiting 2 minutes after her appointment should have started, I approached the receptionist Safinat and asked how much longer do we have as I have to be at work...she replied "we've only just arrived"...this isn't acceptable at all...you can do better than this...

Booked a telephone consultation with this medical centre on the 08.03.21 via the Website and received a confirmation email stating that the call would take please today 09.03.21 afer contacting the surgery to try and find out when the call would take place was informed that this would not be taking place on the 09.03.21 and would now take place on the 10.3.21. they also stated that then confirmation emails are generated emails. Rubbish. I am so feb up with all this. can not see a doctor due to the Government ruling yet I have to deal face to face with my patients every single day try working in

Best doctor I have ever had, she has been very caring and thorough while investigating what is wrong with my health. The receptionists have been great as well and done everything they can to promptly get me an appointment.

This has been my local surgery since I was in my teens. In recent years - since the change in management - I feel they’ve gone from strength to strength. I went through an incredibly difficult time with various things seeming to hit me all at once last year. I half expected to be fobbed off and dismissed but I was overwhelmed with how sympathetic, supportive and kind Dr Khera was. I couldn’t have asked for more. I've been to several appointments here & all of the doctors that I've seen have been compassionate, communicated well & made sure to listen to all of my concerns. In particular, Dr. Rani has been wonderful on the two occasions that l have seen her & has made me feel like a person of worth, rather than an inconvenience, which was my experience elsewhere.
I am less happy with the reception staff, who at times have been decidedly less professional & caring but this is more than made up for by Dr. Rani & her peers.

First time trying this center, so easy to book in and see a doctor the same day!
It was easy to park, really clean and hygienic inside and the reception staff were lovely and attentive.
I was a little early but the doctor saw me prior to my appointment time anyway, he took the time to listen to my problem and explained the reasons behind how I'm feeling a certain way and how he thought was best to cure this. Could not fault the service or the center in any way. Would definitely recommend trying it out
