For all our patients your named GP is Dr A Sharma. The practice nursing team provide a variety of specialised clinics for example diabetes, hypertension, childhood immunisations, family planning as well as general nursing appointments.
Mrs Jay Sharma is a partner and Registered Manager (with the Care Quality Commission), She is responsible for managing the practice and services that are part of the day-to-day smooth running of the practice, including health and safety and patient services.The reception team is responsible for providing a high quality service to patients that includes: welcoming all patients and visitors into the practice, ordering repeat prescriptions etc.

You will be referred to one of our local hospitals where you will be seen by a midwife and could be seen by one of the hospital doctors as well. The midwifery team from City Hospital will support and advise you as well as monitor you and your baby's progress. This is now carried out at Sure Start centres.
The practice registration with the CQC is revised as we are part of Our Health Partnership. Once registered GP practices will receive unannounced inspections and will be continually monitored to ensure that they are meeting national standards. Our practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.
The Virtual Patient Group (VPG) is a collection of patients at a surgery who have an interest in the services provided. VPG cross barriers, embrace diversity and work in partnership with the surgery to improve common understanding and help identify new services to meet patients' needs. In order to get the most out of our Practice we want to create a safe, friendly outlet for helpful, constructive.
Q: What is a patient participation group? A: This is a group of volunteer patients who are involved in making sure the surgery meets patients' needs. Q: Why are you asking people for their contact details? A: The practice would like to be able to contact people occasionally to ask questions about the surgery to see how well we are doing and to identify areas for improvement.
