Once this has been done you will be provided with the appropriate paperwork to register for your account. Our premises are compliant with Disability Discrimination Act regulations and as such have suitable access for disabled patients. If you would like to know the name of your accountable GP please ask a member of our reception team who will be able to advise you.

Having a named GP does not mean that you can only see a specific Doctor as all Doctors at this practice are responsible for your care. If for an appointment you are requesting to see a certain Doctor please bear in mind you may need to wait for the next available appointment, if it is something you feel cannot wait then we urge you to see the next available Doctor.
Services
Please note that opening hours may at times be subject to temporary changes to allow for essential staff training, maintenance etc. Please cancel any appointment that you cannot attend, otherwise you deprive another patient from getting an appointment. If you wish to speak to a doctor or nurse during surgery hours, please call after morning surgery (11.30am) except in an emergency.
If you have seen your GP and they have referred you to see a specialist please view our Patient Referral Leaflet to find out what to do/expect next. If you still have any questions please call us on 0121 203 9999 or e-mail halcyonmedical@nhs.net. The practice nurses are available by appointment between 9.00am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday and between 10.00 - 14.00 on Saturday and 11.00 - 14.00 on Sunday.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
A&E departments treat people with critical or life-threatening problems like head injuries, suspected heart attacks and serious illnesses or injuries. This includes severe breathing difficulties, suspected broken bones and heavy blood loss. I was waiting for my flu jab last week and noticed the attitude of the receptionist.
I have never seen anyone as rude as this lady. She shouts at patients belittles them with her tone with no regard to privacy.
I also witnessed her pick up a ringing phone and cut the call off.
Her name is Jazz so goodluck to you if you have the misfortune of dealing with her.

Had an appointment today with one of the nurses (Pam) to remove my staples after a recent surgery and she was an absolute angel! She’s always a delight and has a very caring and friendly nature. It was exactly what I needed because I was really nervous ahead of this appointment. Thank you so much Pam, you always give 5 star service!

I am not able to make any appointments, I have tried different times to book but nobody either answers or they answer and they can't hear me (at least it's what they say). This morning I have been waiting for 40 minutes in order to book an appointment (I had to leave my place of work to make the call) and after all this time, a lady answered saying, without even letting me speak "Sorry, if you want to book you have to call tomorrow morning" and me "Can't I book now for tomorrow?" and she replied "No, sorry bye bye!" And she hang up. This is very disrespectful. I really need to see a doctor, and

I called the clinic at 17:15/17:20 today to know some exam results and the lady on the phone was proper rude during the whole call. Although me telling what results i needed, she kept telling me arrogantly i could not ask questions and because of her attitude she forgot also the reason i called for. With so many skilled and nicer people looking for job opportunities, you should you pay more attention at the people you hire.

Possibly the worst GP practice I have ever encountered. My husband and I registered to this practice 6 weeks ago after recently moving into the area. Upon trying to book an appointment 5 weeks after handing in our forms we were told that we had not been registered as our forms had been lost. The receptionist offered no apologies and stated tried to blame us for not taking the name of the lady at the GP reception who we handed the forms to. Completely unprofessional and do not take onus for their mistakes which in my opinion makes this practice a dangerous place to be registered. Before registering

I had a truly unpleasant telephone consultation with Dr T Rutter. You'd hope that your GP is atleast kind and not patronizing but clearly this is beyond Dr Rutter.

The admin are decent as they reply to mail. However have waited for over 3 weeks to get to the doctor for something which is very worrying. Totally neglected!!!

Unfortunately, this has to be one of the worst organisations I have ever encountered with regards to communication. The communication between doctors within the practice, communication between the practice and outside providers, communication between receptionists and doctors and, above all, the communication between doctor and patient is appalling. I could list numerous examples but I will not. In the words of one of their own Doctors "issues of poor communication within the practice are raised everyday by patients". Unfortunately it makes the matter worse when an issue has been identified and

I have been with Halcyon Medical for 2 years and I would certainly recommend it.
The receptionists are helpful, patient and polite.
The doctors I have seen: Dr Rebecca and another female doctor were very helpful, nice, professional and thorough. Further, most of my appointments were on time. Actually, this practice is very good in terms of keeping appointments on time compared to other public and private ones!
The practise is very clean and modern.
I really like the online access to tests, doctor’s notes etc Further, I was sceptical about the online appointments but I think Halcon has managed
