I understand the negative reviews. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment at times and I have been frustrated by that but I can only speak highly of the surgery in dealing with a problem recently. I went to the surgery and spoke to a receptionist. She could see that I was very stressed and asked me if i wanted to speak to a locum doctor, I waited about 10 minutes and saw him without an appointment. He couldn't have been more helpful and solved my problem immediately. Well done Linkway.

How are we ever meant to get an appointment with the gp.
I start phoning from 8 and am constantly met with 'welcome to reception your call is now held in a queue......' Followed by the engaged sound
The rude receptionists (who think they are the actual doctors) always say contact 111. Shocking service

This needs looking into and sorting. It can't go on like this. It is impossible to get through or get an appointment. People are desperate, it's absolutely disgraceful. Get new receptionists, the ones you have are useless. I am yet again without my repeat prescription because I can't get through for an appointment for a medication review. It's an absolute joke!

Can never get an appointment. If u ring they either put you in a queue or say they will put you in a queue and hang up! Got a newborn baby that I'm trying to get seen!
EDIT: Resorted to going in physically to get an appointment for newborn. Im on 5th telephone appointment for her but no physical examination even though same problems and she is vulnerable as she is newborn. Everytime I go in receptionists r just on computer and never taking calls. Explains why u can never get through. After 8.30 they say no appointments left. How when they dont take any calls!

This is the worst doctors I have ever been a part of. The doctors themselves are brilliant from the ones I've managed to speak to and see. You call the office and hold for 25minutes minimum whilst it continues to ring with nobody answering. If you are lucky enough to get an answer the receptionists are the rudest people in the world, I don't know why they think it's ok to speak to people the way they do. They're not helpful, don't care what you're calling for they just give the automatic "no appointments, call back tomorrow" and they will repeat this daily to you. If you go to the actual surgery

Very frustrating, waiting to speak to anybody about a simple repeat prescription. Phone appears to ring out, but nobody answers. Eventually, after 25 mins, the line clicks over to reception and I am number one in a queue. At last I get to speak with the receptionist who is unable to deal with my simple request, and transfers me to prescriptions again. Again no answer. this needs sorting, urgently. I am usually very patient, but this is very testing. A strong letter to the Practice Manager, if there is any accountability.

Just phoned up number 4 in que. Woohooo not. After an hour still nothing just kept hearing you are number 3 in que. What???? After an hour . Takes over an hour to talk to 4 patients???? Really??.?. I was not phoning for a chat I was phoning because it was important. Absolutely shocking . Unprofessionalism at its best. What a joke
