Christ is alive at the centre of our school. He leads us to our love of learning and creativity, inspiring to enquire broadly and deeply. We share the journey together in a welcoming, loving and forgiving way. Through prayer and reflection we reach out to everyone, accepting their uniqueness and encouraging them to grow their gifts and talents.
We are delighted to welcome you to Holy Family Catholic Primary School. Our school is a very special place, the children are all known and loved, encouraged to to do their very best, academically, socially, physically, morally and creatively. Holy Family is ambitious, for our children and our staff; as such have high expectations of all of our community.
Holy Family is a rich, nurturing community - whether you are a parent looking for a place for your child, or an adult looking for employment, we have a huge amount to offer. Happiness and success are the keys to what we provide - and this is built on shared Gospel values and a community where love is spoken about and celebrated.
We are not alone in our journey. Respect is the key to building relationships. As children of God, we have a duty not only to respect our friends and teachers but also to show respect to our environment as we are stewards of the earth. Just as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, we have a role to serve our neighbours and wider community.
Collective worship plays a fundamental part of daily school life and enables us all to join together as one in prayer and worship. In its simplest form, prayer is defined as "talking to God." It is a personal time of opening our hearts to our Heavenly Father and bringing everything in our hearts to Him.
