The Chesterfield Golf Club Derbyshire
Chesterfield Golf Club is one of the region's leading destinations - staging a host of top-level events, including the 2019 Midlands County Championships. A beautiful, well established parkland course set amidst stunning Derbyshire countryside on the fringes of the Peak District we offer a test of golf for players of all abilities.

Our attractive clubhouse, with spectacular views, gives a warm welcome to members and visiting golfers alike, with large parties and societies catered for. Your email address is exclusively for us to send occasional promotions and will not be shared or sold.
Services
The Chesterfield Golf Club was founded in 1897 and its first members played a course in Somersall Park - just over a mile from the club's current home. The original Walton course consisted of nine holes, taking in much of the land now occupied by the first six holes together with some which is now a public recreation area.
He was first associated with Chesterfield Golf Club in 2005 as a 15-year-old-junior. For the next three years, Shane represented Derbyshire from under 16 to full county honours. At the age of 18 Shane turned professional with a scratch handicap, appointed to the role of Assistant Professional at Chesterfield Golf Club.
From short but challenging par threes to drivable par fours and lengthy par fives, Chesterfield Golf Club offers a fair test of every aspect of a golfer's skills - whatever your ability level. A front nine which requires players to plot their way around the tree-lined fairways leads gently into the longer back nine, where the bigger hitters will fancy making their length off the tee count.
We pride ourselves on the welcome given to groups and societies, so when you choose Chesterfield Golf Club for your day out, you know you'll be in good hands. Our office staff, club professional and catering team work together to tailor packages to your needs and can provide as much or as little support as you require on the day to make your event flow smoothly.
We want members and visitors to enjoy a relaxing experience - however, we operate certain minimum dress code requirements. Normal golfing attire is acceptable on the course and in the clubhouse. Golfers are, however, asked to change wet or dirty clothing after a round of golf before entering the bar and restaurant areas.

I was invited by members on the 4/8/2021 and had a grand day out. A well maintained course with lightning quick and true greens. A cracking clubhouse with helpful friendly staffs. The buzz and banters with a pint of Guinness on the veranda with it's wonderful view of the 10th and 18th and the hillside beyond. A very happy and contended man. cheers
