No disabled accessible vehicles and when we asked if there was one she could transfer into and chair go in the boot they refused service. Very unhappy that is technically called disability discrimination and breaks equality laws. Will be reporting to the council. 1*

Spoke to a manager who responded to this review, they've apologised for last night and offered a free taxi ride. Mr Ali explained that all taxi drivers are trained and furthermore the operator should have known better and a disciplinary procedure is going to be launched.

Booked online with confirmed quote. Arrived 20mins late and then charged £19 more than the quote. Do not use this company.
Update: increased star rating to 3*. They contacted us next day to apologise and explain. Seems this was partially our fault because we hadn’t correctly added the stop-off on the website enquiry. But this still doesn’t excuse them being 20mins late and the attitude of the driver.

I've used Platinum Cars quite a few times since moving to Wokingham. The app is really helpful and also they are very easy to contact whether that be on the phone or via WhatsApp. I had to cancel a taxi last minute because of illness and this was absolutely fine and provided a refund with no fuss. Looking forward to using Platinum Cars going forward.

I booked Platinum taxi services several times over the past few days with Omar at the office. I had a few different requests which were all met with 'yes, we can do that' - superb response. The taxis mostly arrived on time with very polite and courteous friendly drivers in immaculately clean high spec cars. The one which was just a few minutes late sent me a text to keep me informed. I have to say 5 stars is well deserved, and a big thank you to Ahmed who assisted me with deliveries of my Wokingham Local magazine to clients at several destinations throughout the borough today.
