At the Body Development Centre I develop personalised training plans that help my clients lose weight, tone up and get fit. Hi - My name is Simon. I live in Groby in Leicestershire and I am a personal trainer, behaviour change scientist and sports masseuse. I've been involved in the personal trainer and sports massage industry since 2004, with Body Development Centre being founded in 2005. Since then, My full-time career has been providing clients with personal training sessions and sports massage services right across Leicestershire.
My role as your personal trainer is to help you improve your overall health & fitness and this can come in many different shapes and sizes. This why I provide a range of highly individual and comprehensive services to help you on your way. Whether you are looking for a bespoke personal training plan, injury rehabilitation, or a sports massage, I can help!

That is why I work with you to develop a personalised training plan focused on your lifestyle and the things you enjoy. At the Body Development Centre in Leicester, I have been providing clients with highly individual personal training plans to enable weight loss and fitness gains for over 15 years! But now, I have started providing online personal training and fitness coaching regardless of location, skill level or availability to get into my gym!
I provide sports massage in Leicester, covering injury rehabilitation and muscular pain relief, with advice on how to prevent injuries returning. If you're suffering from a recent sporting injury or are experiencing repetitive strain injury, then my deep tissue sports massage service is for you. My sessions are highly focused on your particular issue to ensure you recover as quick as possible.

I've been training with Simon for a few months now and the client -trainer relationship we have is awesome. He supports me every single day especially during the difficult curves that life throws at us. He motivates me and helps me stay focused. I learn so much from him. I’ve been training with Simon for over 6 months now and I would definitely recommend him to anybody. His approach covers both your physical and psychological needs, always prioritising your wellbeing and avoiding injury. It doesn’t matter if you have never done exercises or if you want to push yourself a bit extra, he will find the right routine for you. It also helps the fact that he is a really nice & professional guy and he doesn’t mind my talking between exercises.

I’ve been training with Simon for 6 months now and I cannot believe the progress I’ve made. I train twice a week and I really enjoy the variety and challenge he puts into the sessions. Simon is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and much to my amazement fun! I have seen a huge improvement in my overall fitness and approach to diet. I have been working with Simon for a few months now and he has really helped me with my nutrition. I have tried many diets in the past and we are concentrating on eating whole foods and the importance of not eating processed food.
Simon works with me so we perform the exercises that I enjoy rather than making exercise a chore. Overall I appreciate the help and support Simon provides especially outside of our regular sessions and helps me keep on track.

I started my journey with Simon about 3 months ago now, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life! I was reluctant to start on my fitness path, as I came to Simon with mild/severe anxiety, asking if he could support me to achieve my fitness goals in a relaxed environment. I have struggled with weight for a few years now.  I tried a few different ways to get healthy however , exercise and I don’t get along and I have an unhealthy relationship with food.  I have been working with Simon for about 2-3 months now and I have not only been enjoying exercise and eating healthy, I have lost weight and gaining muscle (bench pressing 20kg) . Thanks to Simon I have the knowledge to keep the weight off and keep going to my goal.
