While we can't invite you in just yet, we are looking forward to meeting our prospective P1 pupils and their families. We have been busy at Mercy and Mrs Loughran will give you a quick whistle stop tour of some of the aspects of Mercy Primary School life in the video above. Look also at our News Page for school in action!

At this time you can ask questions directly to the staff and Pupils! Hope to see you soon! During your visit we hope you will catch a glimpse of the exciting and wonderful things that happen in our school throughout the year. You will get a feel for the breadth of educational experiences provided here at Mercy Primary and hopefully answer some of the questions you may have about our school!

Some of our Primary 6 children have been hard at work to create our first school newspaper. There are articles in this issue that would interest both children and parents and there may even be some prizes to be won. This has been compiled entirely by the children and demonstrates how much hard work they have put into it.
Our primary 4 Girls loved using our thinking hats today, to discuss the problems and different things we know about picture book "The Little Match Girl." Have a look at our cool healthy snacks and lunches we made, through our google classroom task. Have a watch at our cool video of our subtraction poem, which has been helping us with our tricky sums!
We all love getting to show our skills and knowledge to the rest of our class when we use the interactive whiteboard. Primary 4 girls are settling in to class and what a great bunch of girls they are. On Friday morning they have their books out and are getting ready, set go to take part in their Friday Quiz.
We have been working hard over the last two weeks doing lots of different things! Check out our sports day pictures, our science experiments, our baking and our trips out and about. Lots of pictures this week of how we use Maths in our everyday lives.

Some girls baked, others used their skills in the garden, some even calculated how far they had walked, but we all looked like we were having lots of fun! Check out some more of our stained glass pictures of Mary too.
Beautiful time spent as parent and daughter create crafts together in our parents room facilitated by the white rock community centre. We have so many fun activities for our parents and children to avail of this term. Last week, the parents showcased their hairdressing skills in up-styling the children's hair.
