I have been teaching Pilates for nearly 16 years now and I'm still on a journey really - of finding out more about Pilates, watching it evolve and incorporating the latest thinking into my teaching. I'm also finding out more about my body - what it can do, what it apparently can't do and how I might be able to change that!
If you would like to book a Pilates class, the cost is 9 if you pay and go, and 8 if you buy a block of 5 at 40. Note: if you buy a 5 session class pass, you still have to book the classes for the relevant dates. The system, whilst formatted for mobile phones, is much clearer on a big screen and if you are confused we'd strongly advise booking on a laptop or even a tablet device.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch. You are welcome to park in the back street but bear in mind that because the street is a dead end, you'll have to reverse out. Alternatively there is parking at the end of the street on Cross Roundhay Avenue. Limited parking available at the Community Centre but parking available on the road nearby.
Janet and I have been teaching Chair Based Exercise for 12 years and we are really passionate about it. Just because you aren't too steady on your feet, let alone happy to run or jump, doesn't mean that you can't exercise and it doesn't mean that you shouldn't exercise. Janet and I can both deliver sessions in Retirement Flats, Sheltered Housing, Care Homes and for Day Centres/Lunch Clubs.
Do get in touch if you would like to ask anything about our Pilates classes in Leeds or about whether Pilates might be suitable for you. I will try to reply to your message within 24 hours. We publish a MONTHLY newsletter which contains a "how to" Video clip, movement tips and advice, class updates.

I anxiously attended my first one to one reformer with Alison on Saturday. I was welcomed, instantly put at ease and for the first time shown properly how to position my body to get the most exacting work out. I am so glad I took the plunge and finally feel I have found the right activity for me to work on myself, my body and my self confidence. I… have signed up for a block class of 10 and can’t wait to get started. Alison’s patience and technique in teaching is second to none. I am already feeling the benefits and trying to correct my standing posture from the first class.

Took some Mat and Reformer one to one classes with Louise at the studio and highly recommend them. She was lovely and thoroughly professional. Helped me a lot in getting some of my techniques right and even though I was on a holiday there, I always looked forward to her class. Keep up the great work !

I have had to attend a few Back Care classes in past couple of years after recurring lower back injuries. Gardening!!! They have always helped my recovery. This time I also had physiotherapy sessions. I now need to keep up the Pilates exercises regularly at classes. I highly recommend these classes if you suffer lower back injuries. Mine were muscular so can only comment on the good effect on them.
