At South Cave Church of England Primary School, we want all our children to 'shine' and our values play an intrinsic part in all aspects of our school life, for all pupils and adults associated with our school. We work alongside our families and the local community to support and nurture our children, so that they are able to be the best person that they can be.
We provide them with a wide variety of experiences and opportunities to learn and grow academically, physically, socially and emotionally, so that they are able to develop a love of learning, a love for themselves and others and a love of the world that they live in. Whilst with us, through their important primary school years, we prepare them to journey confidently through the rest of their life.

Services
All school admissions are dealt with by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The main ERYC telephone number is 01482 393939 and you should ask for the admissions team. Our current admission limit for foundation is 60 pupils. If you would like to make any initial inquiries please contact the school office on 01430 422526.
If you need to report any incident or worries regarding anything online then please contact Mrs. Newby or Mr. Tatton. Many children will be spending time gaming online over the summer holidays. This article explores the different elements of gaming with a particular focus on how it can be used by offenders but focusing on what parents can do to support their child while gaming.
We ensure that appropriate provision is made for pupils who belong to vulnerable groups, this includes ensuring that the needs of socially disadvantaged pupils are adequately assessed and addressed. In making provision for socially disadvantaged pupils, we recognise that not all pupils who receive free school meals will be socially disadvantaged.
This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on the provision of PE and sport in schools. Schools must spend the additional funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they will have the freedom to choose how they do this. Pooling the additional funding with that of other local schools.
At South Cave Church of England Primary School we value every child as an individual, giving equal opportunities to reach their full potential, regardless of their background. We strive to ensure that our curriculum is designed to ensure that our pupils are not given a stereo typical view of other people, faiths, cultures and diversity.

Was THE best school in the whole wide world in the 1970's. Mr Silk was a fantastic headmaster and so cool for an old geezer in his orange VW campervan. Great teachers who made a real lasting impression on me are Mr Greenwell, Miss Brocklebank, Mrs Cook and Mrs Brown- who was gorgeous! I didn't go to get my books matked for months because she made my 10 year old heart flutter so much. Like the song goes - I was just sorry ever after '74 - '75.
