C.E.Hall Optometrists was established by Optometrist Christopher Hall. With over 40 years experience as an Optometrist he has become one of the most respected members of the Optical community bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our patients and other team members.
Peter has been part of the team since 2009 with over twelve years experience including practicing as a resident optometrist at Plymouth Hospital among other highly regarded independent opticians.Following in Christophers footsteps Ben joined the family practice in 1999. Ben offers a vast knowledge of spectacle lenses enabling him to find our patients the best possible lenses to achieve the best possible vision.

The sight test is the most important part of your visit to our practice, so we have made sure all of our equipment is up to date. We can screen your eyes for any underlying diseases, so a test is not just for spectacles. However if you feel your sight has changed before your sight test is due, we will be more than happy to see you sooner.
Our principal aim is to give each and every patient the highest available standard of eye care. To this end in recent years we have invested over 100,000 in equipment for diagnosing eye conditions ideally before any problems are encountered. We now have in our consulting rooms a Ocular Coherence Tomographer, Pentacam, Fundus Camera and field screener, not all of which are applicable to everyone.
We have two Zeiss Diagnostic Instruments that are invaluable in advanced eye examination and referral for medical opinions where necessary. They have reduced our need for specialist opinions in many cases. Zeiss have now installed an additional imaging programme whereby we can monitor progressive changes over time.
Here at C.E.Halls in Farnham we are proud to say we take dispensing spectacles very seriously which is why we have the latest in dispensing technology to ensure your spectacles give you clear vision from the moment you collect them. The Rodenstock ImpressionIST(R) 3 mirror will help you achieve perfect vision with made to measure lenses, simple frame selection and easy to understand lens consulting with no confusing jargon!

There must be hundreds of opticians in this country, but I truly believe that no one beats, the professionalism, expertise and the friendly manner that CE Hall Opticians extends to all its patients. The quality of the frames and their lenses surpasses all. I accept that that they may be a few pennies more than some of their national competitors but they don't profess to be the cheapest, they try to be the best. In my opinion you can be rest assured that the small extra, is not a cost but an investment.

We love to support a local company and are so pleased that they support our needs in such a friendly, approachable way. Our children are extremely well looked after and no question is ever a chore during sight tests. After two failed attempts of Leightons in Farnham to get my spectacles right and 6 visits to their shop I had enough and went to C.E. Hall. What a world of difference, these people genuinely care about their customers and they really know what they are doing when it comes to spectacles with complex prescriptions and they got everything right first time around and they were more than 40% cheaper than Leightons. If you are looking for a top of the range optician in Farnham that provides genuine personal customer service at a very competitive price, look no further.

This is an independent optician. They are so polite and helpful.
