The Optical Studio was established in 2006 and is the brainchild of brother and sister optometrists Dhruve and Bejal Patel. Having gained invaluable experience in the optical industry prior to the opening of their first practice, they felt there was a need for an alternative to the high street opticians.

Finally I have happy eyes and a happy nose! ...
I have spent a fortune at other opticians being guided towards frames that are not suitable for me and when I went to the Optical Studio I had 'semi-permanent' dents in my nose and was suffering headaches. Expertly executed under Covid limitations, I was given the time and guidance needed and now have glasses that are super light and comfortable and suit me perfectly, not to mention gorgeous! (I will update this in a month or so as to the effect on my nose dents but they already feel so much better.)

Such a wonderful optical experience!
All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on a range of issues, but they have been particularly helpful with my sensitive / dry eyes, and I cannot rate their dry eye clinic high enough, especially the new range of makeup for sensitive eyes.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is concerned about their vision health in addition to the normal purchasing of glasses and contacts lenses.

Paid nearly £300 for sunglasses that were first faulty and then not as described and still not right. Exchange offered but not wanted. Refund refused. Imcompetent and untruthful. Avoid at all costs. I beleive one of the two 5 star reviews on here is by the business owner himself. Says it all really!
