Bliinx Eyecare is an independent, family run Opticians situated in Kingsley. We provide thorough 30 to 40 minute NHS & Private eye tests in a relaxed environment, with free parking and refreshments. We check the health of the eye and all aspects of vision. We have invested in excellent testing equipment to ensure the best results for our patients.
Appointments for a sight test last for up to 45 minutes here at Bliinx. We take more time than high street practices to provide a thorough eye examination at a pace you are happy with. Not only do we aim to test your vision and prescribe as needed we check thoroughly the health of the eye itself. This includes looking for conditions that can have a significant influence on your life such as diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
If you would like to be a bit different, we additionally have a fantastic range of frames which are fun, functional and low cost. To provide you, as a family, to choose the right frames for your child we have a suitable range of toys, funny frames, ipad with various game apps, to entertain your children in a safe environment.
September - we have reached out to local primary schools to offer our visual stress services. This is of particular importance to those children around the age of 7 who are struggling with their reading progression at school. The reduced print size can be difficult to process and intervention may be required to aid their learning.

Super impressed !! Great friendly , attentive staff , who made myself and my boys feel super comfortable even giving them “where’s Wally”books to keep them entertained whilst we waited . I will never use specsavers or vision express again … these are the guys for me 100%

Top notch eye care with friendly and efficient service. Sarah and the team at Bliinx are excellent. Have been a regular customer for some years and have always been impressed by the warmth of their service, thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Plus easy to get to and none of the town centre hassle.
