Farley Nursery Schools are three outstanding private nursery schools located in the heart of the Hampshire & Wiltshire countryside. We follow a unique 'Outdoor Learning' ethos - come rain or shine, children are outside; discovering bugs, making mud pies, story telling, creating dens, solving puzzles, reading, painting and using their imagination.
At Farley Nursery Schools, children spend all day outdoors; exploring, creating, playing and learning. Our award-winning private nursery schools create a truly exceptional environment for children to develop. We believe, and much research supports this belief, that outdoor learning helps children's confidence, social skills, capacity for learning and overall health.

Services
Each location has a fabulous team of practitioners, all highly qualified and dedicated professionals. Sue and Gary founded Farley Nursery School in 2006, based on the Scandinavian outdoor approach to early years education. Sue's vision was to return to the traditional childhood values of healthy outdoor play that she had experienced.
The original Farley Nursery School is located seven miles from Salisbury on the outskirts of Farley village. It is surrounded by beautiful fields and woodland which provide a wonderful and stimulating environment for children to play and learn outside, in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Sparsholt Nursery School is a completely yurt-based nursery school located in rolling countryside on the borders of Wiltshire and Hampshire.
Even if there are no specific vacancies we are always on the look out for great people with a passion for working with children. If you are hard working, enthusiastic and flexible you will love belonging to the Farley Nursery School family. We welcome applications from qualified practitioners but also accept applications from non-qualified candidates who share our vision to reconnect children with nature.
If you are interested in one of our nursery schools, we really encourage you to come and visit. Please do get in touch as we would be more than happy to show you around and answer all your questions. The only way to really understand and appreciate our unique outdoor learning ethos is to come and see it for yourself!

I can not imagine a better nursery! Farley (SL) is a place to be treasured and learnt from. My little ones adore every second they have in this amazing place (often refusing to leave). They learn so much in a fabulous environment and are given freedom to revel in what it is to be a toddler. Their imaginations are nurtured and dreams and thoughts… often brought to life in creative and inspiring ways. The care and encouragement the staff show both my girls is unparalleled and I truly believe they are loved while they are there. The staff make this nursery, they are lovely, energetic and happy

Farley Sparsholt is the most amazing nursery. We feel really privileged to have it on our doorstep and that our son has had the opportunity to build memories there. We have really see him blossom there and he is incredibly happy and our daughter loves her time there as a ranger. The staff are fantastic, and they all take an interest and seem to know… about your children and are keen to be a part of their growing up. His learning is built around things he loves and looking at ways to challenge him. I would recommend this nursery highly to anyone and it definitely gives your children opportunities

Farley is like stepping back in time to a golden age of childhood. Poppy absolutely loves all the wonderful staff, the outdoor fun and the interaction with animals and nature. As parents we value learning… independence outdoors. Who doesn't love yurts, camp fires, nature walks, vegetable gardens, farm animals and playing in the mud, sunshine, rain and snow with friends?!! :)

I honestly would give Farley Sparsholt 10 stars if I could! The staff are fabulous and the learning environment is incredible. My just-turned-three year old enjoys every moment and my oldest still goes back as a Ranger in the school holidays. The British weather only serves to make it all the more fun!
