Children enjoy an abundance of exciting and inventive experiences and thrive on the new challenges provided. All children make outstanding progress from their initial starting point. Staff use every oppotunity to encourage and praise children for their achievments. Children are valued. They learn to share, understand boundaries, are very kind and considerate, and value others' views.
Windrush Nursery is a small pre-school, catering for up to 30 children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years. It is organised, managed and run by five members of staff who between them have qualifications in teaching (3-9 year-olds), nursery nursing, N.V.Q 3, CYPW L3 diploma and Paediatric First Aid.

Services
Windrush Nursery has been established for 26 years and for the last 21 has run from my property in West Dean. The house was no longer a feasible place for a nursery and although the garden was lovely through the summer, I was not prepared to spend the winter working from a marquee and a caravan. So over the summer of 2020 a wooden buidling was erected in the garden and a new Windrush was born.
