Bingley Medical Practice
Bingley Medical Practice is an NHS GP surgery - the largest in Bingley, providing 12,000 local people with comprehensive, high quality health care. We offer a full range of GP services, but also several special ones including on site blood tests, ECG's, minor surgery, and direct access to GP specialists in skin conditions, and sports and joint problems.

We are also a teaching practice, educating both medical students from the University of Leeds, and doctors training to become GPs. We are proud of our high quality care: we have achieved 100% scores in the NHS Quality & Outcomes Framework for the past few years, and were the first Bingley surgery to be awarded the Quality Practice Award by the Royal College of GPs.
Services
We also keep some appointments in reserve for use each day (you can book some of these online from 7am). Please let us know if you wish to see a specific doctor or nurse, or require a specific time and/or date and we will try our best to accomodate this. Our aim is for you to see the doctor who knows you best, or a doctor with specialist knowledge relevant to your problem.
Pharmacies have their own processing times to add on, which vary from hours to a few days. We can send most prescriptions electronically to your chosen pharmacy, anywhere in the UK. Please let us know which Pharmacy you want to use. Alternatively you set your preference through the NHS app, or contact Pharmacies directly to register with them to receive your prescriptions.
The Patient Group's next major project is to respond to the patient's request that the waiting area could be more interesting and stimulating. We would like to thank everyone who voted for us in Skipton Building Society's Grassroots Giving 2018. We're delighted to tell you that we have been successful in securing this year's funding.

Great doctors but the reception staff are rude and abrupt. Rang for a doctor's appointment and was told I had to tell her what my issues were, then she started giving opinions on the reason I wanted to see a doctor! I said I just want to see a doctor please and she rudely said fine one will ring you and rudely hung up on me.
Once again 45 minutes holding just to get cut off....

Unhelpful. Despite producing consent letter and offering non-NHS service fee for a letter - practice staff refused a reasonable request.

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for your help with my son. The receptionist did her best to understand the problem and ensure a GP could call me back quickly. I have never felt so listened to or supported by a GP, it was so reassuring to know someone was willing to help. He called me back as agreed to explain next steps and the referral was done same day. 5***** service, many thanks.

Fantastic practice, always helpful, even with the most disorganized patient in the world (me). Reception staff are friendly and courteous, always willing to help. Can't recommend them highly enough.

They are very often running late. However all the doctors are brilliant. Always very clean, has little play areas for children though does need more toys a lot have missing parts etc. But overall has everything someone needs.
