Service was impeccable. The optician spent ages with my eye test to ensure we checked everything. Most thorough experience ever. The shop team were so helpful as well with helping me pick out some glasses and finding me the perfect ones! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am registered blind, with a small amount of vision in one eye. My 30 dioptre glasses had 2 arms missing so I went to Wood Street Opticians to see if they could help.
Sara showed us in, after taking our temperature, which was ok.
Saba searched through her stock of spare parts and fitted 2 new arms to the glasses.
Amazingly, she didn't even ask for a fee.
How kind is that!
They are professional, friendly and Covid aware, and I highly recommend!!

Absolutely fabulous!! Seriously I had passed by the shop and intended to go on and have my eyes tested. When I did …I was not disappointed! Wonderful friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I treated my self to the most amazing and glamorous frames which will put a smile on my face! But of course now I can see everything perfectly Thank you !

This was the first time I visited Wood Street Opticians, after making a conscious choice to switch from the big chains to support a local independent business. I was not disappointed at all. The customer service was exceptional in every way. I was looking for sustainable frames made from recycled materials, which to be honest, I did not expect to find. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when I found out the store had a good selection of these. I would highly recommend this place!
