It is necessary to have had a recent eye test (preferably in the last 6 months), prior to contact lens fitting. For existing contact lens wearers, standard contact lens trial is 25.00 including trial lenses. Part of the contact lens consultation is an evaluation of the suitability to wear contact lenses.
One size does not fit all when it comes to contact lenses. Your eye doctor will need to take some measurements to properly fit your contact lenses. Contact lenses that do not fit properly could cause discomfort, blurry vision or even damage the eye. The contact lens industry is always developing new innovations to make contacts more comfortable, convenient and accessible.
Hygiene is one of the most important factors in preventing infections and other problems that can affect not only the health of your eyes but also your long-term vision. Here are some dos and don'ts for cleaning your contact lenses and the reasoning behind them. Do rub your contact lenses with your fingers, and rinse them with fresh cleaning solution afterward.
I have never worn lenses before, how do I begin? When you try contact lenses for the first time you will need to ensure that you have an eye test and a full consultation first. The consultation includes an eye health check, a discussion on lens types and suitability, a wear and care teach and an in-store trial of your chosen lens.

A friend of mine recommended Bleetman's to me. Its not flashy inside like the typical chain of big new corporate opticians now around but don't let that put you off, the guy there is fantastic. You get so much more than Specsavers here. The guy there really pays attention to detail, is incredibly helpful and you get the best care for your eyes. They don't push you to spend like other big chains who put you under pressure. If you are local to the area would highly recommend this optician. I'm so glad I found them and happy to support local Independent businesses.

DO NOT GO AND GIVE IN YOUR OLD DESIGNER GLASSES. They lost my mother inlaws glasses that she had for 20yrs. The receptionist girl is very rude. She seemed fishy when she noticed the glasses. Worst part is manager is helping but is only in 2 days. So we have deal with the incompetent girl. I WILL UPDATE as this unfolds. The glasses were old chanelle frames.
