Zacks Eye Clinic is a multi award winning, state of the art, independent opticians located in central London W1. The practice is equipped with the latest, hi-tech imaging equipment and optical laboratory to provide specialist services. Our highly qualified opticians specialise in eye examinations, all types of contact lenses for all age groups, orthokeratology and dyslexia eye sight tests.
Zacks Eye Clinic (30 Warren St, London W1T 5NF) incorporates Zack Contact Lenses, The Kings Cross Eye Clinic, Eyes For You Opticians and W. Johnson & Sons Opticians. In the 19th century, Johnson & Sons were at the forefront of spectacle lens technology and held a royal warrant for the supply of spectacles to Queen Victoria.
Jonathan is a member of the College of Optometrists, Association of Optometrists and British Contact Lens Association. He graduated from Aston University in 1996 with an honours degree in Optometry and was awarded a first for his elective work in cortical function.
He completed his clinical training at London's Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Institute of Optometry and went on to complete higher exams in the fields of paediatric optometry, therapeutics and specialist contact lenses.Jonathan has worked as a visiting lecturer in the children's clinic at City University, taught several post-graduate students in private practice and acted as optometric consultant on film and television productions.

Every patient is given a very thorough eye sight test, including scans of the eyes and retinal photographs which takes at least half an hour.

I had the most thorough eye test here. Was a bit hesitant at first as it was my first time at this clinic. The receptionist put me at ease, checked all my details and I was seen on time. Vincent who tested my eyes was professional, meticulous, and patient, .and answered all my questions. I am partially deaf and tend to speak loudly, but he showed no irritation, which is the usual response. I have no hesitation in recommending Zaks Eye Clinic

Zacks are fantastic and the optician that took my appointment was incredibly professional. I have spent years with very uncomfortable prescriptions, and they took the time to really dig into what was going on. A complete eye health check with some really fancy 3d scanning showed all was ok there, so the problems I was having came down to my previous prescriptions and how out of balance they had been. Putting on the new prescriptions for the 1st time was fantastic, no more eye strain. A relief! Thank you Zacks, patient for life. If you need a full clinical eye exam, this is the place.

I was recommended to see the optometrist at Zacks by a colleague because I have a very high prescription and had problems with previous opticians. The examination was of a much higher standard than I have ever experienced before and I am so happy with my new glasses and contact lenses. I can not recommend these guys enough!

As someone who's been buying glasses all my life in London, Zack Eye Clinic seems to me unique, offering intelligent and carefully considered solutions to my vision issues. Jonathan and his team studied the way I used my glasses and came up with long-term plans that have worked really well for me. I would recommend him to anyone who cares about their sight. They also have a really superb selection of frames.
