After twenty years experience working and managing at various prestigious opticians in the Harley Street area Roger Pope opened his own practice on New Cavendish Street in 1987. We initially specialised in dispensing prescriptions from leading Harley Street Ophthalmologists and subsequently also prescriptions issued by optometrists in our own consulting room at 41 New Cavendish Street.
Roger Pope and Partners is one of today's leading independent opticians. I can't take all the credit though! It may be my name above the door, but the practice would not have achieved such success without our talented and loyal team. Each and every one is an expert in their field and passionate about what they do.
Roger Pope & Partners have a dedicated team of five qualified Dispensing Opticians and three Optometrists. Meet the rest of the team. Prior to opening his unique practice in New Cavendish Street in 1987, Roger had for 20 years worked with leading Ophthalmologists in Harley Street, dispensing their spectacle prescriptions before opening his practice in New Cavendish Street in 1987.

We are proud to support two charities within the optical community that share our values, beliefs and commitment to educate and treat eye conditions. Founded by Royal Charter in 1629, The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers is the oldest existing optical body in the world.
A designer name is not essential. Our frame range is selected for its quality and design. We also provide high concept frame ranges from individual companies throughout the world who design and manufacture their own original and unique collections of eyewear. To look good is to feel good and our styles appeal to a wide range of tastes ensuring the perfect fit every time.

Very impressed. Husband had a very detailed eye test, took best part of an hour. I thought they were checking every eyelash. Beautiful surroundings, tranquil atmosphere and highly trained caring staff.
Service is not cheap compared to those awful chain stores, but in our view you get what you pay for.
Eye health is important.
Optician even nixed one frame as being unsuitable for my husband's face as it bowed slightly.
