Cobie has been working in the Eastbourne area for over 20 years and is mainly dedicated to veterinary practice which he enjoys all aspects of. With 25 years of veterinary experience he still loves all aspects of veterinary surgery although he is now dedicated to the care of small animals only. He is married to Claire a local dentist and they have two children Isabel (14) and Louis (12) and family life occupies most of his spare time.
We want to help reduce and spread the cost of routine preventative health care for your pet. That's why we are working with plan administrators, Vetsure, to deliver preventative treatments and benefits through our Pet Health Plans for dogs, cats and rabbits, all at discounted prices that are collected in an easy monthly direct debit.
We never want money to be an issue should your pet require treatment but there is also no doubt that the provision of high quality veterinary care can be costly. We hope your pet stays in good health but, ask yourself, could you afford an unexpected veterinary bill of 2000? In the absence of a Pet National Health Service, lifelong pet insurance may offer the best solution for pet owners.
If you are planning to take your dog, cat or ferret to Europe this year. Please ensure you have the current, correct documents approximately one month before you travel. You will have to obtain a Health Certificate from your vet and all dogs must be treated for tapeworm if travelling to Finland, Ireland, Malta, Norway and Northern Ireland.
Most medications that we use are 'prescription only medications'. This means they need to be dispensed by a veterinary surgeon for 'an animal under their care'. This means that the vet is taking legal and ethical responsibility for the correct use of these medicines. Naturally, this means that there are certain constraints.

Everyone at cobie vets eastbourne .nurses and vets are very kind caring and informative. We had a nervous of people puppy .he now loves going to the vets ..we have been given good advice .and never rushed .very thorough checks given .we recommend them highly .also good value for money .

I cannot recommend Cobie Vets highly enough. They look after my two cats and recently one of my cats had to be put down due to losing her fight with Cancer. She and I were treated with such kindness and she was in good hands. When I moved to the area I was worried I would not find a vet as good as the one I had left. However, all the Vets and staff at Cobies are excellent and my dearly loved furry family are well looked after.

The best decision I ever made was to move my cats to this practice. The staff are absolutely amazing, always helpful, kind and caring. Cobie is an absolute gentleman and will always come and take my cat basket from me (which is good because one of my cats is a porker). I have never had a negative experience with them and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Cobie Vets are the most amazing people. I cannot tell you how many times they have helped us. We have twenty pets (all with their own set of issues) and Cobie have been so kind to each and every one of them.

Best in Eastbourne!!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! All the staff are so friendly and willing to help in any way they can. If you have any fears worries or anxietis about your beloved family member, no matter how trivial it seems to others, there is always a freindly voice at the end of the phone, able to let you know if you need to see the vet or things can be sorted without a vet. 1st class service every time

Recently moved over to Cobie vets. What a great bunch of people! Their empathy towards animals is clear & lovely to see. Although they are a business their first concern is towards the animal.
We have 2 dogs in the family, Mr Gino who recently suffered a bad accident fracturing his leg. Their care & concern was outstanding. The level of knowledge & speed with which they dealt with the situation was commendable. Gino is a 2kg in weight Pomeranian, so his operation & aftercare was not as simple. However with Cobie vets to guide us he is recovering perfectly & is once again thriving. Thank you Cobie

Got recommended Cobie Vetcare from another animal lover and needed a second opinion for my cat. I went down to a very warm welcome by this lovely friendly lady behind the desk. The vet came out and helped me take my cat in and was very friendly and treated her very gently, she was very calm. She even let him touch her mouth. The team made the visit very calm and would definitely be making this my vets from now on. Would highly recommend this vets to look after there animal needs ⭐🌟
