Cliffe Equine Vets is an RCVS accredited Equine Practice. The Practice Standards Scheme assesses veterinary practices rigorously so you can be reassured of the quality of veterinary care and service we offer. We pride ourselves on clinical excellence and a professional and personal service and you can be sure everything we do has our clients' best interests at heart.
For routine work, such as vaccinations and dentistry, these are a green, fuel and time efficient way of our vets getting to visits and we pass on the saving to you. Zone visits are charged at the greatly reduced cost of 15 and are free of charge when we see 3 or more horses at the same address. Zone visits are only applicable to routine work and for emergencies or more involved consultations standard visit fees will apply.

We are in a unique position having three Equine Dental Technicians (EDT) in Karl Holliman, Penny Brownings and Laura Large. Our senior vet and EDT Karl Holliman is the chairman of the Equine Veterinary Dental Association, putting us at the forefront of the equine dentistry profession.

Providing routine veterinary care helps us to help you keep your horses, ponies and donkeys healthy. Vaccinations, dental care, worming and regular health checks are some of the preventative medicine services we offer. Vaccinations, worming and dental care are at the forefront of our preventative care, but we also offer additional services such as microchipping, passporting and JMB height measurements amongst others.
