Beech House Vet Clinic
Beech House Vet Clinic is a small, friendly, long-established vet clinic in the Preston Park area of Brighton. Our aim is to provide practical and sympathetic care for you and for your pet. We will be really pleased if you choose Beech House Vet Clinic as your vet. Our vets are patient, sympathetic, knowledgeable and experienced. Our nurses are great! We are able to offer you all the services you would expect for your cat, dog or smaller pet.
Services
We provide all the veterinary care you need here at Beech House, including vaccinations for your pets. As well as vaccinations, we have access to the latest equipment and technology to enable us to carry out a wide variety of treatments and procedures for your pet. If you are considering neutering your pet, please make an appointment with our vets so that we can explain the procedure.
Here you can find some of our most asked for prices. If there is something that isn't listed that you would like to know the price of, please give us a call and we will do our best to give you the answer! And don't forget that a number of these things are included in our Pet Health Club, which could well save you money and give you piece of mind that your pet's preventative health care is paid for in advance.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
Neutering the bitch is a surgical procedure under general anaesthetic during which the womb and the ovaries are removed. It is commonly known as spaying. A small proportion of spayed bitches may develop urinary incontinence (bed wetting) in later life. In most cases this can be treated successfully with medical treatment.
It is rare for pets (and people) to pick up fleas from other pets directly. Adult fleas live on the skin of hairy animals and if they can possibly help it they do not jump off. Each female flea lays many eggs. Since pets spend more time at home than anywhere else, home is where most flea eggs fall.

They are very supportive, they listen and helped to make our visit as stress free as possible for our very nervous dog. If you give them a chance to understand your pets needs they are great and we very much recommend them.

The vet was lovely. Here’s my cat through the window having her COVID friendly examination (no owners allowed). She looks like she’s having a great time. Just like in the window art.
