We're a small animal practice that has been caring for dogs, cats and other domestic pets for over 40 years. We are based in West Sussex and have three surgeries in Storrington, Findon and Steyning. Veterinary care is provided by a dedicated team of 7 vets, supported by nurses, animal care assistants, receptionists and office staff.
Out-of-hours emergency cover is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year via Worthing Emergency Vets a specialist emergency and critical care provider with some of the best facilities available in the South East. We work closely with them to ensure that your pet receives the very highest standard of care.

Services
We provide all of the day-to-day veterinary needs that your pet may have. This includes first opinion diagnostics, vaccinations, neutering, routine surgery, pet passports & more. Analysing blood and urine can provide lots of useful information to help us reach an accurate diagnosis. We can run some blood and urine tests in-house, which is particularly important in an emergency.
From flea treatment to vaccinations, we discuss the important points when it comes to owning a puppy. Dental hygiene in humans is widely reported but, when it comes to pets, pet owners are often unaware that they can help to prevent problems before they develop. We all like to treat ourselves and our pets, but the excessive food and treats can cause obesity in our beloved family member.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
Our nurses run regular clinics at each of our branches. Nurses are highly trained professionals, who are often better placed than vets to provide advice and practical help with preventative healthcare, minor procedures and management of chronic diseases. They attend lots of courses and lectures to make sure they are up to date with new products and information.

We have used crossways vets for 5 years, we use to always go to Storrington branch and always found them great and helpful. We moved but decided to stick with crossways as we have always been happy with the service. We have also used the Steyning branch a couple of times this year and have found the service there is just as good. Thank you to all the staff at crossways.
