Wonderful vets, cannot recommend Jeremy and Fiona, and all the team at Heene Road vets enough. We wouldn't go anywhere else had a litter of puppies. Mum got poorly they saw her straight away twice no appointment nothing. They guided us through hand rearing the pups again if we were worried fitted them straight in to see the vet.

For the past 14 years our dog has received the best care possible, we cannot praise this practice enough. Mr French and the whole team are super caring. A very special mention to Areti and Sam who made a tough day easier. Thank You Heene Road Vets, you are the best. Excellent vets, great customer service, excellent clinical care, value for money and most importantly kind and compassionate.
Services
Jeremy graduated from Glasgow University in 1986. His first position was as a veterinary assistant at a mixed practice in Pulborough where he stayed for 2.5 years. He then moved to Littlehampton where he consolidated his surgical skills. Jeremy came to Heene Road in 1989, where he became a partner in 1990 and has remained ever since.
The practice provides a full range of services and our veterinary care is underpinned by the use of a full range of modern equipment. We have the latest in-house diagnostic equipment for both haematology and biochemistry. This allows us rapid diagnosis of your pet's disease or monitoring of chronic disease and treatment.
Emergencies occurring during our normal working hours will always be dealt with as a priority. We use Worthing Emergency Vets (based in Grove Lodge Veterinary Hospital) for emergencies arising out of hours. This will apply to any pet needing emergency treatment or hospitalisation between the hours of 6.30pm until 8.30am Monday to Friday, or after 1pm Saturday until 8.30am Monday morning.
Heene Road Vets VIP Club not only gives you exceptional value to protect your pet, but you will receive exclusive benefits on a range of services and merchandise to look after the pet that you love. The VIP Club is not pet insurance - it covers the essential routine preventative care that your pet needs, such as vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, health checks and advice - items that pet insurance does not cover.
Please allow at least 2 working days notice so that your request can be authorised by a veterinary surgeon. We generally ask to re-examine your pet every 3 months, to look for any changes in the condition and for any side effects or new problems. The law requires that this check is done when prescribing prescription only medicines.

My dog needed to be seen after being injured by another dog, I was very quick to be seen, being told to come down straight away, however I was not informed of any of the measures in place at the vets due to Covid-19 before I headed down. My dog can get stressed going to the vets at the best of times but not being able to go into the vets with him made him 10x worse. The vets treated him very quickly bringing him back outside to myself in a timely manner, the vet came out to explain the treatment ect however didn't inform me of how I would be able to pay or a rough indication of how much it may
