Dog or cat, rabbit or rat, young or old, we are here to provide you with all your pet needs. We are passionate about your pets. We are a small animal veterinary practice, first established in 1979. We are as keen on preventative health care for your pet as we are on providing optimum clinical care when it's needed.
We are open seven days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Services
Claremont Veterinary Group was started in 1979 by Stephen White, who grew up in our lovely seaside town of Bexhill. Knowing Bexhill and its surrounding area to be a fantastic place to live and work, our surgery was established in Sidley Street. Since those early beginnings we have continually developed and for the last 15 years our main surgery has been at Wainwright Road, a premises affording us a spacious work area and ample private parking.
We have an enthusiastic team of vets and nurses who attend regular training courses to continue their professional development, ensuring they are fully up to date with the ever evolving field of veterinary medicine. We have regular staff meetings to discuss cases, share knowledge and find ways to continually improve our service.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's well-being. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01424 222835 and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact Sussex Coast Vets on 01424 224818. Sussex Coast is our preferred emergency services partner.
