Friendly helpful staff. Plus the kind of attention to detail you want but rarely get! Very happy with the care of our cats. Good to know they're there! Really helpful staff kind caring everything explained to me. Wouldn't think to go anywhere else, best around. My pets treatment has been thought out and I feel confident that she is in the best hands possible.
Services
Sussex Coast Vets are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and comprise of five branches, including a dedicated out-of-hours team to provide 24/7 veterinary care. Sussex Coast Vets are always here to care for your pets. We firmly believe prevention is better than cure that is why we offer a fantastic Pet Health Club which covers all of your pet's routine healthcare.
Below is a list of some of the services that are available to help your pet. However, we have access, through colleagues and acquaintances to most treatments. Please ring and ask if something that you are interested in or think would help is not shown here and we will always try to arrange it for you.
We are looking for an experienced RVN to join our wonderful team in this thriving practice on the East Sussex coast. This practice is part of a group of five branches serving the Hastings and Bexhill area. Experienced small animal vet needed with at least three years' experience to join our multi-site practice and our extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced vets and nurses.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
At Sussex Coast, we believe microchipping is part of responsible pet ownership and therefore we provide a free microchip with our Pet Health Club or Puppy and Kitten Vaccination packages. Microchips have been present worldwide for over twenty years now, and it is a widely accepted practice to chip your pet as the sole means of identification.

Really disorganised and understaffed. They have closed surgeries due to losing vets but have not provided extra non-vet staff to deal with all enquiries coming through 2 sites rather than 5. Not very understanding or helpful. What a pity, they were lovely at the London Road site.
To the clinical director,
You did not include details for me to write directly. Feel free to call me if you would like to better understand my disappointment and address my concerns. You have my number.

Suffering from a vet shortage due to our Boris Bloody Brexit, we travelled to this branch with our cat who's been not good since rescued from a gutter at 10 days old in Spain. Had her now for 9 years and visited countless vets here and in Spain without the problem being sorted. Our branch of this practice had no available vet so travelled to this one. The vet was visibly knackered, knowledgeable, competent and empathetic. Two injections and a prescription diet that wasn't a rip off price and our cat is now eating well, not vomiting it all up immediately and seems to be on mend. Me, I'm bloody furious

I recently had to take my dog and he spent 3 days and nights receiving treatment. The care he received by Steven the Vet and his team was excellent, caring and considerate. He listened to my concerns and we discussed the best action to take. I have had several Vets, but this was definitely the best care and attention my dog has received.

Stressful vibe from vet when he knew we were grieving. We arrived 10 minutes late for our 2nd apt thinking we were early, We had called to check the time but were put on hold for 20 minuted with no response. The vet was very stressed and condescending towards us, made us feel we'd been very much an inconvenience. My mum and i were in a fragile state, in tears all day which he knew about as he'd seen us that morning to tell us we needed to say goodbye to our dear pet this week. We also did not like the way he handled our pet and how he constantly referred to him as a ‘she’. He made a mess of

Thanks to Stephen and the team for the treatment that Murphy, our dog, has received over the years. He had 2 very awful lumps removed from his throat and bottom but went on for another 2 years. He had a peaceful, dignified end at home calmly administered by Stephen and Ellie. Susie Prescott
