Upon first impression this hotel was great. Beautiful lobby, massive fitness area with a pool and good food at the bar. On my way to my room only one tiny elevator was working which could fit at most 5 people. 3 if you have luggage with you. My room was visually appealing with clean sheets. However my sink plug was stuck shut. The staff was very helpful but ultimately had to remove the whole plug. The room got hot very quickly so i attemped to open a window, upon inspection i noticed there were drops of blood on my window. Sketched me out a bit.

Pros
- Staff and breakfast were awesome!
- Good location. Close to downtown.
- Clean rooms
Cons
- Matresses were not great
- Very limited onsite parking. Additional parking 5 minutes away though.
- Wifi was sporadic
- We had a family room with a reservation for 5. To support the 5th person, the hotel staff brought in a roller bed which had definitely seen better days.
- We had a problem with the lock on our door. It wasn't uncommon for it to take 4-5 minutes to get the door open with the credit card type key.

The check in and the food and service at the Bell Bar was top notch. The room is clean and comfortable. Just one thing. Avoid room 121 if you want air flow from outside. It's tucked in an alcove and it's about 80 degrees in here even with the window open. Any breeze would need to be magic to make way through the small opening the window allows. Its the middle of the night or i would move. I understand they don't have air conditioning but i need air. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.

Lisa is, hand down, the best part of this hotel outside of the view of the church we had! She was understanding and accommodating, listen to our concerns and questions and addressed them accordingly. The staff as a whole seem great and efficient, outside of the housekeeping staff. There were a few small issues in our room, but again Lisa was great at making us feel heard and understood!

Stayed here for a night on our contiki tour, beautiful modern hotel.
Wifi signal is good, walking distance to lots of great shopping and food areas in cork. I wish we had stayed here longer or gotten here earlier as it was Sunday and shops closed early.
Our room had a terrible view of some ventilation equipment but that is the only real negative I have of the place.
Great breakfast, good shower, comfy beds.

I'm really puzzled by the negative reviews this property gets on Yelp...check Trip Advisor for a more balanced picture.
Our family of 4 with 2 young kids had a blast. We had a spacious and clean bedroom, Wi-Fi, easy access to the City Center and tons of restaurants.
Throw in free swimming pools access and it's hard to complain about anything except possibly the parking. Off site parking is a block away (there's a shortcut, and no need to walk the 3 blocks mentioned in another review), though costs 10 Euro/night. We used that for a night, and then managed to park on site for

Even if they fixed the parking, it's still a two star hotel at best. Not sure how I ended up here, but we're making the best of it.
My goal was to find an affordable hotel for our group, not far from shopping (just across the river) so we succeeded on those points. But the parking situation will drive you mad. After circling for 30 minutes i found a street spot, but still needed a parking disk. The hotel is worn, and around a few corners you'll find a smell you can't identify, but falls into the category of nasty.
The rooms are small, with NO A/C - at leasts none in

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in my entire life. I've stayed at hostels where I've shared a room with 15 other people and they were far superior to this. First, the parking situation is absurd. They have "two" car parks that probably hold 10-15 cars max. The room is smaller than the bathroom in my one bedroom Boston apartment. After being here an hour the toilet, which we hadn't even used (?!?!) backed up. I wasn't able to reach the front desk by phone so I had to get dressed and walk down to the front desk. They seemed less than concerned. The location

Worst hotel we stayed in our entire trip. They gave us a smoking room, bed was hard as a rock and there was no parking. We had to use the parking garage that was 3 blocks away. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! Was about the same as motel 6 in the US. My version of camping. No amenities what so ever. Staff was not nice or friendly.
