Stayed here last night for the Newcastle game and bit of sight seeing walk about after...I had the single room £48 the photos were true of the room to be honest you won't get a good value room not far from the city for a vert lean price.
I wanted to stay in the city but with prices around £150 and up I couldn't justify it. This hotel is maybe 20 min walk straight down osbourne Road, turn right n right again through the church/metro just follow the path and your there

A wonderful start to my Hadrian’s Wall walk. Bed and breakfast here was fantastic value, two nights for £70. Book up ahead to get this price. The en suite room was very comfortable and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The kippers were very nicely done, a very generous portion with poached eggs. The traditional English breakfast was good too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Jesmond is a very lively and bohemian part of Newcastle. It’s a student area so there are lots of good, cheap eateries around. Will definitely stay here again when next in Newcastle!

I loved staying at this hotel. It is within walking distance into the city so location is perfect. The staff and owner were so friendly and welcoming. The on suite bathroom was spacious and clean. The single bed was comfortable and room spotless. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again….thanks

Amazing hotel. Listed as a 2* hotel but I would personally give it 5*s. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. I came across this hotel by chance whilst staying in Newcastle for my job and have been using it ever since for the past 10 weeks. More than fair priced hotel in a really good location in Jesmond. Have really felt at home for the past 10 weeks and have not felt like I have been away from Birmingham and family.

Lovely clean hotel... our stay was pleasantly relaxing... made welcome by very friendly and helpful staff... The breakfast was top notch... The surroundings are very nice with a lovely Italian restaurant next door... We couldn't get a table, which is a great testament, however we were told by the hotel staff about pizzeria sorrento a short distance away, which was pretty awesome with a great pub next door... All in all a great find...
