At Langdon Primary School our vision is to be an outstanding school with excellent teaching and learning resulting in exemplary outcomes for all. Langdon Primary School promotes a positive atmosphere for learning in a caring, considerate community. Every learner is enabled to develop independence and confidence as well as the motivation to excel in future challenges and life long learning.

Our staff are our biggest asset in educating children. We have carefully constructed a strong, supportive team who have an excellent understanding of child development, learning and well-being. High quality care and a respect for each individual is at the heart of the work of our staff team, at all levels.

All Governors take an active interest in the welfare of our school, even though many of them also run businesses of their own, or work in other capacities. The Full Governing Body meets every six weeks, usually during the final week of term. All governors have three key roles (strategic development of the school, a critical friend to the Headteacher and accountability for the Head's performance, the school's performance and their own).

Langdon Primary School admits children aged 4 to 11 years old. Children are usually admitted to school during September in the school year in which they are 5, in line with our School's Admission Policy. Our virtual school tour video will give parents an idea of what our school is like and support them in determining whether they would like to know more.
