St Margaret's-at-cliffe Primary School
Winners of 'Best Promotion of Reading for Pleasure' in Kent Schools - St Margaret's at Cliffe Primary School. We are a thriving, high performing, rural primary school nestled in the village of St Margaret's at Cliffe. With capacity for 210 children, we attract families from within our village, other nearby villages, as well as the local towns of Deal and Dover.

Pupils achieve well and make outstanding progress - academically and socially - during their time with us. We make good use of extensive grounds and the local community to further enrich our curriculum. With an on-site nursery, as well as Breakfast and After School Club facilities, we provide for a range of family needs.
Services
St Margaret's-at-Cliffe is a co-educational Community Primary School, catering for 4 to 11 year old pupils, set in a village environment between Dover and Deal, off the A258. The village consists mainly of private housing and has a population of approximately 3000. Children also attend the school from East Langdon, Kingsdown, Dover and Deal.
We want St Margaret's-at-Cliffe Primary School to be a welcoming place where there is a clear sense of purpose, shared by everyone involved with the School. We would like all concerned to be proud of the School and to feel a real sense of belonging. We believe that all relationships should be built on mutual trust and that there must be equality of opportunity.
We are a primary school catering for children aged 4 to 11 years old. Children are admitted during September in the school year in which they are 5, in accordance with the School's Admission Policy. Spread the word to friends and family who have a child starting school. Please telephone the school office for an appointment or for further information.
Children in Classes R, 1 and 2 are entitled to a cooked school lunch every day courtesy of Government funding - this scheme is called 'Universal Infant Free School Meals'. Good food and good food culture has been shown to lead not only to healthier, happier and more fulfilled children, but to improved educational attainment.
Children at St. Margaret's-at-Cliffe Primary School use the Internet on a regular basis as part of their learning. In school, we have regular 'e-safety' activities to remind children of the importance of keeping themselves safe online. At home, sometimes children can be given unsupervised access to the Internet.
