We are a small village school located in the beautiful village of Worth, near Sandwich in Kent. Our school motto is 'lifelong learning' and we believe that through good quality teaching and care for each individual every child can fulfil their full potential. We have a pupil admission number of ten per year.

This means our children enjoy high adult to pupil ratios and small classes. Our Reception children are in a stand-alone class whilst there are a further three mixed age classes. This works well and each child's individual need is catered for. Our curriculum is creative and innovative. We teach through exciting topic based learning whilst ensuring the important key skills run through the curriculum.
Services
I have lived in the Dover area all my life. My background is in business having owned my own company for many years. I am now medically retired due to disability which means I have lots of time available to support our school in my role as a governor. I have more than 15 years of experience as a school governor in Primary and Special Schools and have previously served as chair of governors in two other schools.
Within a culture of kindness, tolerance and respect for others to stimulate in all children a love of learning that will last throughout their lifetimes. We encourage teamwork whilst not abandoning recognition of individual achievement. We believe that creativity and learning can be enhanced by co-operation and by celebrating and sharing in success.
How well inspectors think the school is doing and what it could do to make things even better? How well pupils are doing, both in their education and their overall well-being and personal development? How up to date the school buildings are, including any boarding school living accommodation? Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child's school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.
Our curriculum aim is to create independent, higher order thinkers with high aspirations, through a curriculum that focuses on the local environment and widens our children's global understanding. From the moment our Reception children join Worth Primary School they are welcomed into our warm, caring community.
At Worth Primary School we pride our self on our excellent outcomes for pupils that ensure all pupils are ready for their next stage of education. While we understand that all children progress and learn in different ways we measure and assess against end of key stage statutory requirements. Our assessment looks at all areas of learning with a key focus on English and Mathematics.
