Our telephone lines are reserved for emergency calls between 8:00am - 8:30am, 12noon -1:00pm and 6:00pm - 6:30pm Monday-Friday. All extended hour appointments are pre-bookable for patients who have difficulty attending during normal working hours. These can be booked in advance by speaking to our dedicated receptionists during our normal opening times of 8:00am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

Please contact the surgery on 0151 630 2080 to arrange a pre-bookable blood test appointment with our phlebotomist at St Georges Medical Centre. We offer appointments at the surgery Monday to Friday, including early morning appointments. Please make sure you drink plenty of water in time for your appointment.
Bearing all this in mind we have installed an automated telephone appointment booking system which is available to our patients 24 hours a day every day of the year, even when the surgery is closed. The system is called Patient Partner and allows you to book, check or cancel telephone appointments with a GP at any time.
NHS 111 is the Practice Out of Hours Provider. Out of Hours operates between 6:30pm and 8:00am on each weekday, all weekend and bank and public holidays. NHS 111 is a service which has been introduced to make it easier for you to access local NHS healthcare services when you need medical help fast, but it isn't a 999 emergency.
