Hello, my name is Mrs Udell and it is with great pleasure that I am able to welcome you to our website. I am delighted to be the Head Teacher of Elm Grove Primary School. I am very proud of the work that the school does and the children, staff, governors and parents/carers that make up our community.
Children at Elm Grove Primary School are lucky to attend such a fabulous school. We believe we help our children to become confident and independent individuals. Please take some time to have a look around our website using the drop down tools across the top of the page. You will find information about what we have to offer and the wonderful things that happen and take place on a daily basis.

Services
Elm Grove Primary School is an inclusive, friendly, happy and successful school that sets out to make learning fun, active and challenging for its pupils. We are always seeking ways to learn and improve the standards of educational provision we offer our pupils. Our school is unique in its composition and design, and we put children at the very centre of all we do.
Applications for a school place, whether 'starting school' for the first time, or an in-year transfer between schools MUST be made directly through the West Sussex County Council Admissions Team which operates an online and paper-based application system. If there are no school places at Elm Grove in your child's year group the Admissions Team also operates any waiting lists for the school.
Elm Grove is committed to ensure that the children are provided with a broad and balanced curriculum; one which prepares them for their future adult life and becoming a valued citizen of our every changing society. We recognise the multi-faith and ever changing society of the United Kingdom and wish to prepare our children for the future.
We have our own Chatterbox Breakfast Club that is run by school staff and available every morning from 8.00am for children eligible for Pupil Premium funding. The children are provided with a healthy breakfast and the chance to play and talk together. Staff are trained in and follow The Communication Trust 'Talk Boost' programme which supports children with their language and communication skills.
At Elm Grove Primary we believe that learning should be fun, active and challenging. Our core values of creativity, collaboration, independence and excellence underpin everything we do. During their time at Elm Grove children will develop their ability to work and play well together, and to support and challenge each other with positive experiences.
