There is much to celebrate at St Margaret's. Our school is a welcoming, happy school where all who are part of our school community are helpful, considerate and respectful of each other. The children are very happy and enjoy learning. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated staff team who strive to provide a safe, caring environment where all children are able to enjoy their learning and thrive.
We value each other and work together as a community to support our wonderful children. Our vision for the school, created with our Christian values at the heart of it, underpins all that we do and want for the children in our school.

The aim of History teaching is to stimulate the children's interest and understanding about the life of people who lived in the past, both in Britain and in the wider world. We teach children a sense of chronology, and through this they develop a sense of identity and a cultural understanding based on their historical heritage.
Governors work with senior leaders in setting the strategic direction of the school and in raising standards of achievement. Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff. Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
We are very fortunate at St Margaret's to have a dedicated and hardworking team, who are committed to our school vision ensuring our children thrive in a setting which embraces God's Love in all that we do. Our staff support all of our pupils to learn in an inspirational and inclusive environment helping them to become resilient, confident and compassionate lifelong learners, contributing positively to the local and global communities.

My name is Mrs Carpenter and I am the SENCo (Special Needs Coordinator) at the school. My job is to have an overview of everything which goes on for children at the school and ensure that all children feel safe, secure, included and successful.
My priority for the school is to ensure that any provision which sits outside of High Quality Teaching (the term to describe best practice teaching in schools) is having an impact and enabling children to meet their learning and social goals.I really value collaboration with parents/carers and try to work together with parents/carers to plan and review the support that we have on offer.
