Christ Church Church Of England Primary School
We work in partnership with home and Church to serve and nurture all children and adults in our care. Our Christian ethos and values are at the heart of everything we do, enabling our community to reach their full potential and flourish for life in all its fullness. Our ethos is summarised in our 5 core values which were carefully chosen by our pupils, staff, parents and governors and support the development of the whole child.

We aspire to become an outstanding school and will be working closely with our partners in Kaleidoscope Academy to secure our future and to continue with the development of our school.
Services
Following the Prime Minister's announcement this evening, all Schools must now close and switch to remote learning for all pupils, except those who are classified as 'critical workers' by the government. Schools will remain closed until at least the end of February half-term. Work packs are available for all children and can be collected from the school gates.
You may have seen in the news that the government is backing some new resources to support schools, parents and pupils whilst schools remain closed. One of these resources is the Oak National Academy - a virtual school delivering three lessons every day for each year group. There is no login required.
We know it is vital for your child to stay connected and keeping motivation high during this lockdown will become challenging over time. We are unsure exactly when the lockdown will ease as there is speculation it may continue beyond half term. This is why we are changing our provision now. Our children deserve the best possible education either in school or at home.
We are delighted that you are considering Christ Church CE VA Primary School as your child's school. We would love to show you around our wonderful school, however the current situation means that it is just not possible at the moment. With that in mind, we have produced a virtual tour, which we hope will just give you a flavour of what we are all about here at Christ Church Primary School.
The report can be downloaded below, as well as from the Ofsted website, where previous inspection reports can also be found. Ofsted and HMI inspection teams will always take the views of parents into consideration and it is extremely helpful if as many parents as possible complete the Ofsted Parent View questionnaire.
