This B&B is on the road leading into Ventnor in a fairly isolated location up a steep hill so you will need a car or like hiking to go anywhere. We stayed for a 2 night weekend break in the Seahorse suite which was spacious and clean with sea views and a lovely roll-top bath in the huge bathroom. We didn't have breakfast on either morning as breakfast is only served between 8-9 am and you have to pre-order what you want the night before. Check out is also fairly early at 10 am on the day of departure so the perfect place to stay if you are an early riser. If you do stay here though, you must visit

We booked last minute and what a find!
We stayed in the Dolphin Room which was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our room opened up on to the delightful terrace and pool, with breathtaking views of the sea.
Breakfast was excellent and Paul was attentive and a great host.
Such a charming place to stay, only wish we could have stayed longer.

We have booked 4 nights at the Leconfield and on arrival Paul met us in the car park to take our temperatures. They are taking Covid 19 extremely seriously which is excellent. Plenty of space in our room and we have the luxury of a 4 poster bed. Yorkshire Tea is always a nice touch. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning.
In the morning the breakfast was very good, sets you up for the day ahead. Paul is very good and on hand with your coffee and any other requirements. Breakfast is ordered the night before and these forms are in your room, just pop tje bag on the door when you retire.

Lovely quiet, comfortable hotel with good size well equipped bedrooms and bathrooms. Car Parking at the rear. There is plenty of room in each space whether you have a small car or a large SUV. The breakfasts are excellent in a large nicely situated breakfast room. Paul is an excellent host, with good local knowledge. Everyone is temperature tested on arrival in the car park and Covid 19 arrangements are impressive and reassuring. Without hesitation I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Fabulous 4 night stay at the Leconfield. Our room ‘the captains bridge’ was immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the huge bath and posh shower were second to none. Paul and the team do an amazing breakfast and couldn’t be more helpful, I can highly recommend the porridge with cream and honey! Thanks guys for making our well overdue childfree break so lovely.
