Our aim is to provide a happy, secure, caring and stimulating environment for our children where they can learn through play and reach their full potential. We are a community-run pre-school owned and run by a management committee made up of parents and carers.

We follow each child's lead in play, following their unique physical, emotional, learning and development needs by; listening to others, observing them and playing alongside them scaffolding their play and development as needed.

Services
A community owned and run pre-school that empowers parents and carers to have a real role in their child's education. We are a community owned pre-school run by a management committee made up of parents. We need your help to run the school and support the staff to ensure our children continue to thrive in this fabulous setting.
In addition to our Funded hours we offer care from 8.30 - 9am daily, these sessions need to be booked in advance and are charged at * 3 per session. Children can start from 2.5 years of age, with a bit of leeway to start earlier if they are ready and we have space available.
The ratio of staff to children in Pre-school enables us to provide individual attention to each child enabling them to progress at their own rate in all areas of development whether or not they have additional needs.We are experienced in working with professionals across a range of addional needs. Forest School sessions are held at Cropthorne School and from the Autumn 2021 are moving to a Wednesday. We will be there all day opening from 9-12 for younger children, 9-1 for those wishing to stay for lunch and 9-3.15 for intrepid mud wallowers! Our Early bird club will also be running from 8.30am.
Charlton with Cropthorne Pre-School is located in the pretty village of Charlton, near Pershore, Worcestershire. We welcome enquiries and visits from parents and carers who are interested in placing their child with us. The Pre-School is located in The Old School Room, which is situated behind St John the Evangelist Church, and can be accessed via the entrance to the church and through the garden.
